Kobe & Andrew the best due in the league?

Post#1 » by Tommy Trojan » Sat Jan 12, 2008 6:05 am

The more I watch this team play the more convinced I get that Kobe and Drew are the best duo in the league. I know there are some really good duos in the league, but I personally don

Id probably put Duncan and Parker ahead of them because of there championship experience, but Kobe and Bynum are right there

Getting there. McGrady and Yao has dropped big time. Same with TP and Duncan.

No yet.

Bynum and Kobe have the Potential to be the best.
Come playoff time you will see why.
Bynum has alot of growing up to do.
Offensively he can do things because of his length that Duncan, Oneill look to old to do. He looks good getting up there with the throw down.

give it some time though.
there is a possibility after drew gets some playoff experience. He has a lot of upside.

Now i am waiting for Oden. Only KG, Yao, Howard, Oden, Jefferson and a few others will make for exciting big man matches.

Pierce, Allen, and KG are not a duo.

I would take Nash & Amare over Parker & Duncan, but that's just me

Ginobili / Duncan are the best duo historically, but have had injuries this season. I think Kobe-Bynum probably are the best duo in the league right now, in context of their winning record.

what do you mean in context of their winning record? is this like MVP voting, if they're putting up big numbers together but not winning they wouldn't be considered the best duo?

Well that could go either way. That's why I put KG & Ray or Pierce. If you want to put Pierce with KG that's fine, if you think those two would be better then our two.

Kobe and Drew are definitely working their way up to elite company, but to be considered one of the best duos in the league they're going to have to bring it the rest of the season and into the playoffs. And I think that's exactly what they're going to do, especially with our solid supporting cast.

But man tonight we got a real glimpse of the future. Kobe and Bynum are going to be lethal the next 5 years. Bynum is showing that he has almost a complete repetoire, the only thing he needs to add to become a 20+ pt scorer is that face up jumper. Well, elite conditioning too, but that'll come naturally with experience.
