If we were to play Spurs in a 7 game series...

Would you start Bynum against Oberto and Duncan?

The only bad games Bynum has really had were against the Celtics who have a similar bigman rotation than the Spurs.

I was thinking about this and I think we should start Kwame if we play the Spurs. Oberto will play rough with Bynum and get him out of his comfort zone like he did when Bynum got himself ejected.

Plus on the other end Odom can't guard Duncan and Bynum wouldn't do it without getting in foul trouble.

I was thinking we should start Kwame because he could guard Duncan effectively and Bynum can be in his offensive comfort zone in the 2nd unit.

This is the only team I would probably start Kwame over Bynum with. And probably the Celtics. They're probably the only team that's bigger than us.

Maybe Denver but then again Nene is no Tim Duncan. Phoenix obviousely you start Bynum. And Mavs, Bynum. Odom is perfect on Dirk anyway.

well IMO ..since kwame is ineffective on the offensive end..my starting 5 vs the spurs would be :
C:bynum
PF:kwame(contain TD)
SF:odom
SG:kobsta
PG:fish

That's a respectable starting lineup. Manu would be guarding Odom.

Why don't we just start Kwame in place of Odom? Odom is ineffective against the Spurs first unit, that's for sure. Maybe, just maybe, if we bring him off bench, he might be able to lead our second unit and actually score a few points. He has no business playing SF any more given his horrendous jumpshots.

^^^^I'd rather have Ariza guarding Manu than Lamar. Manu is too quick for Lamar.
Lamar should play PF against the Spurs and everybody else in the NBA. He is not quick enough to guard the SFs and does not have a good enough outside game to play the SF position. He belongs as close to the basket as possible.

You guys will never learn Kwame is the worst center in the league or one of them. Bynum is an excellent player and basically an allstar. Sometimes a good defense is a good offense and the fact that Bynum can rebound and Kwame cant also makes it different and Bynum can protect the rim and Kwame can't helps with the Spurs backcourt. Pick and role defense is not so important it's worth it to start Kwame Brown.
They always lose or are average when he plays big minutes.
Anybody who thinks he should play is completely ignorant to the game of basketball.

I was wandering what our record was last year when Kwame started

My first 5 :

Javaris
Sasha
Coby Karl or Radman
Turiaf
Kwame !!!!

That'll be a blowout ! I'm serious !

I would keep the starting five now because of their ability to score and how well they have played together. But assuming the roster is healthy my bench would be:
Mihm, Brown, Radmonvic, Walton, Ariza, Javaris, Farmar

I agree, we don't want to break the rotation bringing in Kwame and having him start. As start said he is the worst player in the league.

Completely false on all accounts. Bynum is a better man to man defender when it comes down to the stats.

I'd like to see Turiaf guard Oberto quite a bit against the Spurs. Odom would end up playing a few less minutes.

That's the only change I'd make.

You guys cut Bynum short of any credit he deserves. I'd rather he face the best and take his lumps then not gain experience against Oberto-Duncan before he faces Garnett-Perkins.

Bynum-Oberto
Kwame-TD
Ariza-Barry if healthy, Bowen, Manu, or Finley
Kobe-Manu
Fisher-Parker

Then bring in LO for Ariza when Barry, Bowen, or Finley is in the game. If we can see Ariza or LO slashing to the basket with Bynum in the post and Kobe and Fish out in the perimeter we would create the mismatch. Reason for Ariza starting in front of Walton for this game and Kwame staying with TD.

kwame missed a TWO HANDED DUNK LOL. Seriously does this guy have any pride? You'd think he felt ashamed when the crowd was in disbelief. You'd think after so many missed layups the guy would get some kind of idea. You'd think he would ask himself "Is this the kind of joke I have become". You'd think he would practice, practice, and practice some more but no, this guy is just about creeping by and collecting his paycheck. If we played the spurs they'd just give kwame a layup and he'd probably brick it.

You have to make Duncan play defense. Oberto would probably guard him but just because he played bad 2x vs the Celtics doesn't mean he can be stopped by tough guys. He cant be stopped unless he just has an off game.

Hi, get off the computer and watch a game of basketball.
Bye.

I watch all the games. Bynum gives up less points man to man, especially when we concentrates on his guy without anyone driving in.
