Breakdown:

When you see a guy go down like Bynum right away you think its career ending.

-Had a sigh of relief when he heard the news. He thought it was gunna be worse. Knows Andrew will be back in full throttle.

-Tommy Lasorda Stopped him at Stu Nantz Funeral and told him "great Job" and Mitch repsonded "hey sometimes it takes a while"

-Was important to here the reports from Doctors early so they know what to do. Looks like Bynum will return at full level.

-Probably look to add a player not through a trade but through free agency. Maybe a 10 day contract.

-Joe McDonnel mentions Webber and Mitch responds with:
He's not gunna share where they are currently in talks today with Webber but mentions how last Season they pursued him and how they value Webber so high because his skill level is extremely high and is very gifted.

-Mitch mentions how Webber is indeed one of the names under Consideration.

-Says the thing with Webber is he has options and is not sure what he wants to do and thats something they wanna sort out if there is to be a marriage in the next day or two.

Kobe should call and invite Webber to join the Lakers.

Curious as to why C-Webb didn't go back to Detroit as they are clearly a contender..

Webber has not played at all this year and withhis age I doubt he wil start. At this point in his career I think Webber is strictly a bench player 18-22 min a game. Being able to have someone of Webber's ability (depending on what he has left) would be a nice addition to the bench. You always have to wonder if Webber has anythig left considering no one has offered him a contract.

If webber went to Detroit, he wouldnt get a lot of time and isnt really needed. They have Mcdyess and Jason Maxiel taking the PF minutes there. But I heard he still wants to go there.

I hope he signs here.

Webber's passing and shooting will fit in with the triangle really well. Being the vet he is, it won't be difficult for him to pick it up. He's not the post threat he was back in 2001. Just a straight up midrange jumpshooter that can rebound some.

Good quick fix if you ask me.

The Stu Nance that commentated on all of Rocky's fights in the Rocky movies. Stu Nahan, oops.

Yeah we can offer him more then any other contender from the Ariza trade. We have a 2.6 or 2.8 million dollar exception. I would offer that to him with extended years up to 3 if I had to just to get him. I know he will probably only be useful for this year and next year but hey you never know, just look at ZO and how he played til 38.

no we don't have such an exception.
the ariza traded didn't result in any trade exception created by the lakers.

the team that can offer most (out of those who may have interest) are the heat, but webber is not about the money.

it's all about the situation.
kind of surprizing that boston hasn't been mentioned.
if the reports are true that the pistons don't want him, i think i'ts between us and the celts, and i guess phoenix may be a surprize bidder.
