Are you angry at Kwame ?
Just want to know your opinions ( statistically ) about Kwame and the whole this stuff and how many will/won't support this guy.
Personally, I think we should give him a little bit more time to see what he is albe to bring in the next 10 games, at least. He's been playing poorly recently, but he did not do it deliberately against Phoenix and other teams he played really bad.
I situations like these, players must be supported, not booed. I absolutely agree with our players !
I vote - No !
There is always one more chance.

I do think some of kwame's game is valuable like his post defense. i believe some of us over look that in his game.

how long has he been with the lakers? almost 3 years! how much more time should we give him?

NO...i do not think kwame is a quitter.... the Lakers quitter label belongs to Cedric Ceballos & Nick Van Smack
To answer your question,
am i angry at Kwame.... NO
Am I disapointted in Kwame.... YES
Should we trade Kwame.... If we can use his salary/contract as part of a nice package deal that will bring in a solid player.... YES

He does have nice post D, but his lack of rebounding sometimes gives up 2nd chances after a good defensive stance. If he could rebound with that post defense maybe he would actually be worth the $ he is paid.KObe Bryant wrote:Big No! I like Kwame's defense and I know he likes playing with us. Kwame is a very good guy. his teammates like him very much.

Enough with that. It happened years ago, Kwame's had plenty of time to restore his fragile psyche. Yet here here he is, still doing the same crap -- fumbling passes, blowing layups, squandering his talent. At what point do we quit making excuses for this guy and put the onus where it belongs -- on him?

I'm down with that.
He can either respond like a champion, or respond like a chump. The choice is his.

i wouldnt hate kwame if he wasnt the definition of a lazy scrub.
in two years look at the improvement that bynum has had under kareems guidance.. bynum is a beast and everyone is drooling over him..
anyone remember michael olowakandi? he too was drafted 1st like kwame. his coaches attempted to have kareem help him maximize his potential, well he didnt think he needed the help of a hall of famer.. he is now out of the league.
the lakers tried to have kareem mentor kwame but he, like olowokandi feels that the help of the guy who has scored the most points in league history is unnnecessary. i feel the story with kwame is worse than olowakandi, olowakandi didnt have absolute proof that kareem knows whats up... but with bynum, kwame sees everyday that if you want to succeed you gotta work for it and yet he STILL refuses to do what is necessary.
yeah, its safe to say i hate kwame.

hate is a strong word.
i do want him off the lakers, though. he may make some positive strides, but really, that is not enough. we need to deal him while his expiring contract has some value.

In the entertainment business you have to learn its a business and not personal. So I wish Kwame the best of luck in the future.
P.S. And it's not only Kwame that has not played well, where is Luke Walton in all this?
2 years ago Kwame and Luke were major players in the playoffs, and neither has not much ever since.
Hate is a strong word, and I would never use hate on any of our Laker players. It

Kwame's physical body (minus hands) was always his only strong suit of his. Now, he is overweight, sluggish, slow, etc. and pretty much, he has no strengths, just a bunch of weaknesses. I'll give him a little bit of time, but he really needs to get back into shape. I never expected much out of him, but I do expect him to be in shape.
I certainly don't hate him though. I just think he shouldn't be on the floor when he is a fat -slow-no jumping-no defense- turnover machine. I guess we just don't have much of a choice though....
Kwame:
3rd Quarter:
11:40 Brown Foul:Shooting (3 PF)
11:22 Brown Turnover:Lost Ball (4 TO) Steal:Stoudemire (2 ST)
10:32 Brown Free Throw 1 of 2 (8 PTS)
10:32 Brown Free Throw 2 of 2 missed
10:04 Brown Turnover:Traveling (5 TO)
9:37 Brown Dunk Shot: Missed
9:10 Brown Turnover:Lost Ball (6 TO) Steal:Nash (2 ST)
8:19 Brown Layup Shot: Missed
7:52 Brown Turnover:Bad Pass (7 TO) Steal:Marion (1 ST)
7:17 Brown Foul:Shooting (4 PF)
That had to be some of the sorriest 5 minutes of basketball ever by any individual player. GET IN SHAPE!

No, I am angry at NUMBER 1 Mitch for not trading him and NUMBER 2 Phil for playing him and at the people here who think he is an elite defensive player considering he is a Center who can't protect the rim and come close to blocking a shot or altering it to make players think twice about driving.

I noticed your sig and it's misleading about me, first of all it's really messed up to try and bring me down in your sig, what does that make you feel better to make fun of me? Anyway it's misleading because what I meant and did say about Isiah is we should hire him as a scout because he is an excellent drafter. Would you not agree? Do you even know the players he has drafted over the years? If you did have any knowledge you would know having Isiah as your scout would be great. Just to sum it up for you since he didn't draft for the Lakers I am assuming you have no idea
1.Tracy McGrady with the 9th pick
2.Damon Staudamire with the 7th
3.Marcus Camby with the 2nd pick
4.David Lee at 30th
5.Treva Ariza-48th
6.Nate Robinson 21st pick
7.Ranadlo Balkman- Everybody thought he would go second round and probably not be in the league and look at him now (he's good just in case you didn't know, the Knicks turned down him and Nate for Artest)
Those are just some of his picks. Pretty damm good don't you think?

Exactly Phil wanted to trade Caron Butler a guy that hustled and played with his heart on his slave played 100% every game, was Kobe's best friend on the team, could have made Kobe's life alot easier, probably cost us a championship because a lineup of Bynum/Odom/Butler/Kobe/Fisher would have been the best team the Lakers ever put on the court and possibly the best team in nba history, literally and for those of you who think I lost my mind by saying that Caron Butler is averaging over 21 points and 7 rebounds with excellent defense he would have been Kobe's perfect Pippen plus we would have Andrew Bynum a 20 point a game allstar center and Odom plus Farmar and Fisher. That would be in the future 3 guaranted allstars plus Odom plus our pg's and that would have also meant us being better then the Celtics and we would have had a ton of free agents that would want to play for us and be willing to sign for less. Like Webber right now has "reservations about the Lakers because he doesn't know if they are contenders or not" and that would not be the case if they have Caron Butler.
I think the Lakers would be alot better off if they had 2 head coaches or having Phil the head coach for the x's and o's and motivating players and defense but they need somebody else for player rotations and what kills me is no matter what dumb thing he does like trade Butler for Kwame or play inferior players over superior players the Lakers still trust this guy like he is a god.
Bottom Line
Phil Jackson is overrated. Sorry Phil2.0
