Second Leading Scorer Update

If you all recall, I posted the subject "Who will be the Second Leading Scorer" on the squad by year end... It appears Bynums injury hasn't hurt his case as he continues to gain ground while not even playing... The updated statistics are as follows:

LO: 13.2 PPG in 36.7 Minutes
AB: 13.1 PPG in 28.8 Minutes
DF: 12.4 PPG in 26.9 Minutes

Although JF is balling, he appears to be too far behind (9.9 PPG in 20.9 Minutes) to catch up... I hope LO goes on a run as we need his scoring right now but it appears AB will be our second leading scorer by the end of the season...

If Bynum, Fisher, and Farmar played Odom's minutes, over 36 a game, each would average 17 points.

Right now, Odom is clearly behind Kobe, Bynum, Fisher, and Farmar.

He's our fifth best scorer when Bynum is in, he's our fourth best with Bynum out.

Even Turiaf, Sasha, and Radman are scoring more easily than Odom.

"2nd leading scorer", to me, isn't just about the bottom line number, it's about who's making the most offensive impact on the floor. In that sense, it's clearly Bynum, not only because of his per minute stats, but because he adds the low post scoring to balance out the offense, he slows the tempo and allows us to execute our offense better, and to boot, he plays extraordinarily well next to Kobe.

That's a true second option to me.

Give Farmar 30 mins a game and he'll outscore anyone not named Kobe on this team right now.

I agree, j-far.

Farmar's been so impressive to me this year.

I don't think people understand how hard it is as a shooter to get such inconsistant sporadic minutes and still come in and perform.

That's the sign of any future stud in this league and Jordan's done it all year.

Agree with you; however I would like to see Farmar not to jack up so many shot's. Sometimes he get's in the game and all of a sudden he starts shooting like crazy and other times he would play in our offence perfectly.

I want Farmar to improve his shot selection, besides he has improved tremendously that
