I think the season has gone better than I expected so far, I credit Bynums emergence, Fishers leadership, Kobe defense, and the Lakers bench for this success. Out of all osf those I credit Bynums emergence as the main reason of this success cause the Lakers have been playing like a .500 team since his injury. The trade for Ariza was excellent, he's great off the bench and somebody I believe would do well as our starting SF, sucks that he's injured though. Luke Walton has sucked ... Lamar Odom, ditto ... Vlad Radmanovic, ditto ... Kwame Brown, ditto ... all four of these players Id trade to make some improvements. Players who I wouldnt trade are Kobe (duh!), Bynum (duh!), Farmar , Ariza and Turiaf. Id love to see the Lakers acquire a real PF or a real second option scorer like a Shawn Marion. Bynum will be a great 2nd option as well but I wouldnt give him that role just yet, maybe next year.

I agree with everything you said.

We need a trade to refresh things up and set us up for contention. We are playing pretty well while being handicapped by Kwame and the disappearances of LO.

+1
Our team D has been better than last year. Bynum and Ariza have been a big part of that. I hope our D gets better and better.

I agree with everything you said except Vlad. He was playing good until the injury. He had 2 bad games but the rest we're good or great. Too bad Lamar can't be as consistent.

We need Bynum back soon. I just can stand watching games knowing Kwame will miss layups from some really good passes in crucial minutes. A handicap Bynum will be better than a already handicap Kwame.

It could've been better, it could've been worse too.
Thank's to Bynum, Farmar, Kobe, and the most important, thank's to Fish we're there, playing excellent in offense and doing a great job in defense ! Some trades involving Kwame, Radmanovic and Odom won't hurt us at all, but will make even stronger...we need some fresh blood in Bynum's absence to keep that record until he comes back, as well as Ariza.

Vladimar, yes was consistant on the offensive end for majority of his games, excluding probably the 2 you mentioned, but he is such a liability on the defensive end. (example; leaving Peja open on every possession when he was red hot)
I agree with a trade scenario, if we can do it, let's do it, we are at the point with so many injuries that I don't think a trade would actually ruin our team chemistry.
I personally would like to see Brown, Odom, Walton, Mihm, and Radman(him I don't mind as much)
Odom and Walton have been disastrous for us this season, Kwame is understandable because he has never played any better haha. Mihm is too much of an injury prone guy, it's a shame because he did play well for us 2006 & 2007 prior to injury, although his defensive game was lacking.

We were 27-14 last year too and the injuries hit us too.
But this team isn't like last year. They have D and can be a .500 until Ariza and Bynum returns.
