Ok, of the ten their is one home game that is this Tuesday vs. the Knicks and here is the rest.
9 road games before the break
Det, Tor, that one is back to back, Wsh, NJ, ATL, Orl, Miami, Chrl that one is back to back, and lastly Minny.
My picks are this.... I like them to beat the Knicks at home and then only 3 more so for the 10 I would say 4-6. However it could be worse if Odom and Luke along w/ the centre of choice plays as bad as they have lately.
They played better yesterday but that was at home, they really need these guys on board.
Key date in this trip could be in NJ, I would think that if Lakers' were to make a run at Kidd something could happen on Feb 5 when they play in NJ...... That could be a nice boost to get going for the rest of the way....

Det-loss
Tor- loss
Wsh-win
NJ-loss (Kidd will be on display triple double unless he is playing for us by then
ATL-loss
Orl-loss- I was really looking forward to seeing Bynum vs Howard. I think Bynum would have seriously outscored him.
Heat-Win
Char-Loss-They are up and coming I believe and Gerald is averaging 23.9 points at home
Minny-Win
3-6. That will probably put us straight out of the playoffs although there is not one game that is not easy winnable if they got there stuff going or if by some miracle Farmar gets the start.
They don't have an inside presence so it should only be a matter of time until Phil realizes they can run and tries to use it as an advantage and starts Ronny and Farmar.
Or it is possible we get lucky with injuries being on our side and Kwame gets hurt in practice before our next game and they go 9-0.
I think we have 4 problems and 2 of them Phil has control over
1. Bynum is hurt- no control there
2. Ariza is hurt- no control there either
3. Kwame Brown is healthy and gets minutes (he must be blackmailing the coach and gm) but Phil has control over him playing.
4. One of our superior players is playing the role and minutes of a backup role player- Phil could start Farmar.

4-6, 5-5, 6-4..... something along those lines. Right about .500, which should be fine imo.
If we fail to win 4 games in the next ten then we really have a problem....

seriously what a horribly timed tragedy that we lost bynum for 2 months in the middle of the season. who's foot did he step on again coming down? gee give the guy some room to breathe. sorry.
i think we can do .500 till he gets back and that should guarantee we make the playoffs although it might be as a 7th or 8th seed which would not be great.
without a doubt, bynum is up there with KG TD DH as one of the best centers in the league. i still remember how he abused Chris Kaman in that victory over the Clips shortly before being injured a week or so later. with him on the roster our potential is limitless.

other than the game in detroit, the lakers should be able to win. am hoping for them to be on a winning streak heading into the all-star break. they better win when i will be watching them live at the target center in minneapolis.

its ridiculous to predict the results in individual games because with this Lakers team i could see us losing to Miami and turning it on for the Pistons. This road trip could make or break our season, it could make the playing group bond together and become tougher mentally as a group, also it might takeaway some of the pressure off Kwame playing away from the Staples Centrer.
This trip could have an adverse reaction where we got 2-8 and we start to fall apart at the seems.
I personally would take 5-5 in these next ten games get into the All star break let everyone have their rest and then bomb on for whats left of the season.
