Post#1 » by WCDYNASTY » Fri Feb 1, 2008 9:43 pm

This is gonna be some GREAT basketball! Im very excited. Their BIG 3 versus our "younger" BIG 4. The Lakers have a way better bench as well!

LA LAKERS:
Andrew Bynum
Pau Gasol
Lamar Odom
Kobe Bryant
Derek Fisher

BOSTON CELTICS:
Kendrick Perkins
Kevin Garnett
Paul Pierce
Ray Allen
Rajon Rondo

Nah....

Celtics will end up playing Wizards first round, Celtics eliminated first round 4-2 ;)

Haha, jk. Seriously though I really believe Magics and Pistons are serious contendors in the East, don't count them out just yet.

Before this trade, the only teams I feared when we're healthy were Boston, Detroit and SA.

Now when healthy, we fear no one!!! Bring on the C's!

Well, C's don't have a bench again... how about Po-Z and House, for a change? They're know to go coconuts at times. And look at our bench production the last couple of games.

But I agree, I would really love to see us C's vs. the Lakers in the Finals 2008. There is one problem for you guys, though: You still don't have the defense that will get us the Championship. We're the best defensive team in the league, and this is a big reason for our success. Even without KG, we were able to slow down the Mavs.

Pau Gasol tells Kevin Garnett, I'll see you in the Finals:

It's funny, cause 6 or 7 months ago this would have been laughable. I for one didn't think the Lakers were going to make the playoffs after Kobe began to demand a trade. Lets not forget that the Celtics had the 5th pick, and people were pulling their hair out for not getting a top 2 pick. Well look how it has all played out.

Both teams are going to make noise in the playoffs, and I wouldn't completely be shocked if the Lakers made the finals, as the west is neck to neck in competition. Hell every damn playoff team in the west could realistically make the finals if San Antonio doesn't shake off their relatively bad start.

I'm not sold on the Magic. Their play has been too inconsistent. Not sure they make too much of a splash in the playoffs. And I would never put them in the same sentence as the Pistons, in terms of being a serious contender.

Hey, just because you guys finally got a good player doesn't mean the rest of your players suddenly become good.

It's gonna be a good matchup if it happens, but I like our chances. You do have awesome D but we have way more depth and are a matchup nightmare with Pau now having to deal with Lamar's size. In fact, we have you at every position but pg for size and our pg's are better than the emerging Rondo.

We have more depth then anybody in the whole league. How many times do I have to say it ?

I guess in the middle of March everybody will see for themselves.

Oh, gosh. I'll better leave before it gets ugly. By the way, you have already showed twice this season against us how "good" your bench is.

The Rivalry is officially on but they already sweep the Series. I hope both teams would meet in the Finals.
