What can we expect from him?

How raw is he? Does he have star potential?

Can he play the SG? Can he defend both PG/SG?

Thanks for any help.

P.S. If you have any questions about Pau, ask and I'll do my best to answer.

this guy has a future for sure. he reminds me of a baron davis. he will be baron in the future. can play both positions. drives, shoots, dunks. but this guy needs a little bit more time

pros: superb ball handling, ability to change direction is elite, looks to set others up, breakdown any defender.

cons: shaky jumper, sometimes too flashy

i think he's strictly a pg. he's at his best when he has the ball and he's creating for others. i don't think sg is really in his future.

yes...he has the potential to be a 20.5.5 player
and im pretty sure many will tell u this also.

his defense is good, man defense is good...can guard the pg position better than he can guard the sg position tho.

Very quick. His handles are amazing. can get to the rim easy and finish..

needs to limit the turnovers..but his turnovers are rookie mistakes..over time he will get better....

and remember....rivals.com rated javaris crittenton the number 1 point guard outta highschool..ahead of mike conley jr himself (number 4)

Cant say it any better. He has all the potential to be a star in this league. He's got the Stevie Franchise potential. An easy 20/5/5 like my man GW3 said here.

He is kind of type casted as a Baron Davis type but it's actually a little off. He needs to be more aggressive on the offensive end. He is a true pg and sometimes needs to shoot more. His defense is really good and will be great. He is tall and athletic and can score so everybody sees Francis and Davis in him but he is a little different. You will see. Honestly Laker fans aren't really good to answer this question if they didn't see him in College because he didn't really play for Phil. He will get in the rotation with you guys and even though he is a natural pg he will probably play alot of 2 cause of Conly and he is tall enough for it.

Crittenton has a lot of size and athleticism, on top of that, he is very polished for a player his age. His playmaking ability is not as evident under our system. He played a lot of SG alongside Farmra while he was here coming off bench. He is better as a PG with the ball in his hands, but he can handle a little minutes at the 2 as well. In him, you definitely get a guy who can potentially turn into an all star. Now it is time for Memphis to do their job and mentor him the right way and allow him to reach his full potential.

the kid had a good summer league outing, but that is about it for me. sure he can play, but I was never impressed enough to be a Critt homer. he is very raw will need a couple of years at least to make a starting line up. think a very poormans Jason Williams-the Sacramento years. the up side that I see is that Mackey will mentor him and will teach him a thing or two on defense and...........nah you guys got raped.

Kid got skills and great ballhandler. Goes for the fancy knock your socks off kind of plays. Yeah he'll be good but it's his metal approach that you guys will have to notice. Here he didn't play that much nor go through any type of adversity. Good luck critt

It hurt management deeply to let him go. All of the Lakers organization were very excited about his future, referring to him as more talented than Farmar, an athletic freak and a showtime baller.

He heas a very unpredictable herky jerky style of dribble. It's very hard to read where the hell he's going. He has a very quick step and is great at changing pace and direction.

I think you will be very excited and hopeful about his future when you see him play.

Oh yeah, he seems to have the right defensive mentality and I would guess that he will become a good on the ball defender.

The guy is 6'5" but moves around the court as if he's 6'0".

He's 6'4 in shoes (6'3 in socks).
