How well will the Laker's do in February?

The next 7 games are all on the road (concluding a 9 game, 14 day road trip), assuming Gasol begins playing for us tomorrow, predict the next 14 games ending the month of February.

@ Wizards
@ Nets
@ Hawks
@ Magics
@ Heat
@ Bobcats
@ Wolves
Hawks
@ Suns
@Clippers
@ Sonics
Blazers
Heat
@ Blazers

They are all winnable games, and we can go 14-0. But realistically, I see us going 13-1 or 12-2 at worst.

I heard them say it during the Wizards broadcast last night. They were talking about Gasol playing tomorrow.

Not sure if he actually is, but he is with the team already and is eligible to play.

Hey, going undefeated isn't unrealistic. When Bynum really began hitting his stride, we beat all the teams we should have beaten at will (7 in a row). This schedule is completely filled with inferior teams (one or two exceptions). A lot of the east teams also don't really play defense (like Toronto, washington, charlotte, new jersey, atlanta, etc.) anyway and that plays into our hands being the third highest scoring offense.

Hopefully lamar plays well. People keep saying he should be traded cuz he can't shoot, but those championship bulls teams had a guy named Ron Harper who couldn't shoot as well (and Odom is better).

Ever see old tapes of Harper before he blew his knee out?

Okay, all that was in question was if Kwame and Java had passed their physicals. Good to know. Thanks.

ESPN: just reported that Pau will NOT play tomorrow, however he will be on the bench.

Also Ric Bucher said the Lakers are the favorit this year to win it all.

I know Ric says stuff out his @@@, but atleast we are starting to get talked about to win it all.

All these games are winable, if we had the team that was playin before bynum went down id almost expect them to win every game.

Its funny how Bynum getting injured was probably the best thing that could have happened to the lakers because it forced them to look for something quick. Now we are a legit championship contender.

A general manager is always looking for opportunities to make his team better. Always.

This trade improves the team.

I'd put a lot of money on the idea that this trade would've happened regardless of Bynum's health.

Pay up.

"Three weeks ago, we would not have made a deal," Kupchak said by phone. "But when Andrew went down, we didn't want to give away eight weeks. Lo and behold, Pau was available." - Mitch Kupchak

14games?

11-3 would be something really good.
