Kobe once again may not have his best shooting night seeing that he will be focused and determined on guarding and shuting down Joe Johnson

**Note** I think its intresting to know though i dont know if it's going to happen Kobe has never scored 40 vs the Hawk's his highest would be 39 .. saw this in a thread recently and just thought i would throw it out there

Though i want Pau to play he should get a little rest this game seeing that he put in a lot of minutes yesterday ..

i'm excited to see Pau send shock waves, part II!

Kobe probably won't have a great game because of his pinky.

Would it be dissapointing if gasol doesnt get a +20pts/+10rebs/+%50fg???

Thats what we want from him. It would be great if we see 5assist and 2blocks but we got some other players to do that.

Go lakers Go

Joe Johnson has been playing poorly as of late. He's not going to kill the Lakers tonight.

What you need to look for is how are the Lakers faring with their transisiton defense tonight. The Hawks will look to run and run early. If the Hawks get into a halfcourt game it will be ugly.

The Lakers also have a significant height advantage over Marvin Williams, Josh SMith, and Al Horford in the box. Horford will hold his ground though.

Feel free to discuss the game over on the Hawks Game thread if you'd wish. We always enjoy reading a different perspective.

Remember when Kobe had his worst shooting night of the season two years ago? He came back the next game against Toronto and bombed 81 on them. Kobe should easily go for 101 tonight ;)

Go watch the post game interview with Kobe right after the game from NBATV... if you guys saw the game on KCAL9 it was during the interview when Gasol was talking to John Ireland, Kobe was right behind them. NBA.com has it. Kobe was extremly happy.

This game will probably feel like New Jersey Part 2... but with better transition offense.

If the Lakers keep their composure then this is a no-brainer... Lakers FTW!!!!

GO LAKERS!!!

Good luck tonight, guys. We can compete with anyone at home (wins over Dallas and Phx) so I think it will be a good game. But you guys should take the win. I'm very excited to see the Kobe-Pau combo.

I do feel the same about the Lakers ! I just can't help thinking about it ! Even at the lessons when I have to be attentive, I'm thinking about the Lakers and how good they are now and the perspectives !

Go Lakers ! Have to win this game !
