Will he be the first player to win a dunk contest and a 3 point shootout if he wins?

Nash, Peja, Kapono, Gibson, Hamilton...... This is gonna be a great competition...

Brent Barry? Oh no wait he lost....but wow I'm shocked they put Kobe in there. Probably just to include a bigger face for New Orleans' fans.

Those are some sick shooters to go against. My money is on Nash or Kapono (both top 6 all time in 3P%), but if Kobe gets hot anything can happen.

Whoa!

Is he allowed to have someone in his face, defending him? Cause if not, I don't see him making too many.

+1

or maybe he can try to pull off some fade away 3's from the corner, he always seems to make those.

LOL, 74th in the league in 3 pt %. The NBA is a joke. He isn't even in the top 3 on his own team for Christ's sake.

unfortunately I'm gonna have to agree, he does need a defender in his face. NBA's doing this for star power

That said, I would have rather seen him in the skills challenge

We just saw kobe with the skills challenege. He won the Dunk contest, and now he has a shot at the 3 point shootout. Anyone who says Kobe needs a man in his face to win this is nuts. He is not the best 3 point shooter, not even the 73rd best, but anyone who says kobe cant drill these shots in practice alone, is just absurd.

Alright Alex! that's what I'm talking about. I have a feeling the last money ball will be shot left handed. Wow the crowd.

I'd rather see a battle between The Machine and The Space Cadet in 3-pt shooting
