and???

doesn't mean we can't follow the guy, considering 75% of the people here felt he had more potential than the guy we decided to keep in Farmar...

Looks like Javaris is having some tough times from that pic.

I'm one who is glad we kept Farmar who is contributing right now. Javaris should be competing for a starting position next season.

Crittenton could've developed into our sixth man by next season had he stayed, but even if he becomes an all star, we still got the better end of the deal with an all star big man who will help us win championships right now.

That's a big "if" to even think about. Lakers need help now. They got that in Pau. The Lakers can't afford to wait a year to finally sign Marc and wait a year or two until he becomes better than Pau or not.

Since there were no Internet message boards 12 years ago... I wonder what people were saying about the Vlade-Kobe trade back then?

Were they saying the Lakers gave up too much in their starting Center for a high school prodigy? It'd be interesting to read some of the reviews back then.

Well at that time we were clearing cap space to go after Shaq. That deal paid off both short term and long term. We were able to Sign Shaq away from Orlando that same summer and we all know what we got in Kobe. I thought that was a good trade from the get go, even though I was only 14 at the time of that trade, everyone around me told me Kobe Bryant was going to be a superstar anf of course I believed it. Even at 14 I was not naive as I was not lied to.

Well, maybe we can get Marc and Critt back, next time they re-build. Kwame should be back in a month or so...
