Pau has words for the fan's of the Lakers "I want to retire here"

Here is the link, but the article is in Spanish so I don't know how useful it is.

good read, he is basically saying that he is happy with his situaion, and that he has become aware of the impact the Lakers as an organization are on the league. Says that he needs to become more aggresive, he says that he and Kobe are on the same ship, and that they need each other to win a ring. He says that he is more awestruck by Phil, not by Kobe.

By all means if he plays well and dedicates himself fully to this franchise. I'd love for him to retire here with three rings! :D

Thanks dude, because I had no clue what Gasol was saying. I provided the link hoping someone would tell us what the article is about.

Question: is there someone who thinks that would be better keep with the grizzlies?
Answer: The one who think like that means he has no brain.

Question: what is your fist goal?
answer: Be more agressive. in the first game the things came ok and VS the hawks i was not that strong. If in the first match I was not quite aggressive in the second, less. I have to settle hard in the paint, to be a real presence, and that teammates feel comfortable giving me the ball, running to the paint, drawing on my blocks.

"He (Gasol) was the guy that beat us," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "He did everything for them. He was scoring, passing and even getting our big guy (Howard) in foul trouble. We couldn't contain him at all."

They are starting to realize what gasol is. so now, the teams will start to make double-teams on him, that meand 5 assists per game and "only" 20pps.

For a worldly, young, ambitious Spaniard, living and working in LA is a dream.

Why are people crossing out Kobe when it comes to the future?

Did you physically examine Kobe and Gasol to come up with that conclusion? Gasol has had more injury problems than Kobe, and has had to bang with bigger players for such a long time.

I agree. Even with the miles Kobe has racked, he will still be a better player than most after 30. I think mitch and the FO has made the moves in order to allow kobe to retire a Laker.

Farmar
Kobe

Pau
Bynum

Don't write Kobe out of the script just yet, fellas.

It's good to hear him being awestruck by Phil. That, in combination with his smarts, means he'll pick up on things quickly and that he won't have a problem with Phil's authority (a la Cook).
