Because of performance issues we have to lock the larger threads on the board and create new ones. Below, find links to the previous trade threads, in chronological order.

Oversized trade thread 1
Oversized Kobe trade thread 2
Oversized trade thread 3

Please, run your trade proposals in the trade checker before posting. Happy trades!

before anybody posts a trade proposal we need Davidse to give us a run down on where we stand now that we are over the luxuary tax threshold to.

By my calculations we have just enough cap room to trade tit for tat.

speaking of boobs check this out from the LA Times

Kwame Brown is averaging two points and 2.3 rebounds in three games for Memphis. He did not play Saturday against New Orleans and played two minutes Tuesday against Sacramento. Javaris Crittenton is averaging five points and 0.7 assists in three games for the Grizzlies. He did not play Tuesday.

I can understand Kwame but WTF is wrong with Critt, unless he's seeing very few minutes.

Well, he's a rookie and all he has at this point is potential. I still don't understand why everyone was so gung-ho on the kid.

my guess is that Lowry is better for the Grizz to trade and they'd like to keep Critt, so they are showcasing Lowry and keeping Critt off other teams radar.

I don't know that we need any trades right now, I'd rather wait out the nutcase warrior till the offseason

Sorry for the unrelated talk...

but I found it interesting and quite pleasing to see the poll from this week's SI.

Sports Illustrated wrote:SI PLAYERS NBA POLL

Which opposing player scares you the most to play against?
Kobe Bryant, Lakers G.................35%
Shaquille O'Neal, Suns C..............12%
Kevin Garnett, Celtics F................6%
LeBron James, Cavs F..................4%
Dwight Howard, Magic C...............4%
--------------------------------------------------------------------
FAST FACTS Poll was completed before O'Neal was traded from the Heat to the Suns last week.... Bryant particularly unnerves forwards, who gave him more than 41% of their vote.... Among players 35 and older, 63% voted for Bryant, who led the league in points, field goals and field goal attempts this season, as well as the last two.

+1. There isn't too many players on the team that the fans want traded now unless Radman decides to go bungee jumping now.

with Ariza hurt and taking longer than expected, it's not looking like he'll be 100% by playoff time.

should we go after a defensive SF? is there a way to get ARtest without giving up Odom?

I still would not mind swapping Odom for Artest, even if LO is putting up consistant numbers as of lately.

^ not worth it at the King's price.

potentially a half season of Artest and two more years of Kenny Thomas?

I'll take the guy who is a family man, and has helped wonders with resolving off-court chemistry issues
