We are earth people on a spiritual journey to the stars. Our quest, our earth walk, is to look within, to know who we are, to see that we are connected to all things, that there is no separation, only in the mind.

+1 to pretty much everything you've stated. I do feel though Andrew Bynum had those low post moves in his arsenal right when the season started, it's just that Lakers didn't look for those early on in the season. It wasn't until his month prior to the injury that we saw LA actually start looking for him in the low post, rather then just throwing it to the basket for him or expecting him to get his easy put-back.

Sadly I do also agree with your analysis on Luke Walton. As of right now I think he's horrible, he really is. It's a shame because I really liked how he was playing for us last season before his injury. Right now IMO he's nothing but a defensive liability when he's on the floor, and he doesn't offer nearly as much on the offensive end as he did last year.

Thing I'd like to add on is about Fisher, Fisher offensively IMO is just like Smush Parker, some nights he has it going and some nights he doesn't. What put's Fisher sooo many steps above Parker is his intangibles that he brings when he is having an off night. Regardless if he was shooting 1-8 the entire game, he's pretty much reliable to look for in a clutch moment regardless of the type of game he's been having. Not only that, his ability to take the charge IMO is the greatest I've seen in a PG. Picking up Derek Fisher was seriously a good deal for us.

Lamar has been amazing since Pau has come to our team. His rebouding and playmaking has really got me respecting his game again. My first response to our situation with Odom once we got Gasol was that we should trade for someone who is a true small forward. With Odom's play I'd like to see how he plays out now when Bynum comes back.

Alas with Gasol and when Bynum comes back, Gasol is meshing in with the Lakers as well as I could have expected, maybe even better. With Bynum's return he just get's even more deadlier for us, and that's pretty hard to imagine.

Not to end with a sour note, the situation with Kobe will dictate how far we will go this season. I really hope he can come to a conclusion on what needs to be done when he plays in the All-Star game or the Atlanta game. If he does end up needing surgery he needs to do it NOW and not wait until after the Olympic games. However if he can really play on it then well thats a different story, but we'll juss have to wait and see what happens with that.

I agreed with every word.

As do I.

And Heir, your analysis was right on with the exception of Bynum not having any post moves. That's all I believe man.

I meant he didn't have that many post moves AT FIRST. But right before he went down, he was starting to develop them. I apologize for the confusion.
