This team is clicking. The Clippers will put up a good game tho, just playing for pride. I hope the Lakers put this one in the refridgerator quickly so they can get ready for seattle, hold on to #1 in the pacific.

That said, I'm gonna pay close attention to the celtics vs. suns game... I dunno who to root for... I guess the celtics :banghead: get some distance for the #1 pacific spot if not the west and chasing the hornets....

Does anyone else have a feeling that Sasha has a man crush on Gasol? The way he threw himself around him yesterday after a Gasol FG was very suspect...

Before Pau's first game in LA someone on the Lakers broadcast team asked Pau how he has adjusted to the LA traffic and he said he got caught in traffic for 2 hours one day when he was leaving Sasha's house on his way to meet a realtor...

to add to that Pau also said he took Sepulveda then Lincoln towards Marina Del Rey during a friday evening rush hour trying to avoid the 405 traffic  welcome to LA Pau

The Lakers must be the gayest team in the NBA, in every sense of the word. ;)

A good friend (and member here) and I were discussing the Lakers' tendency in the past to allow success to lead to over confidence.

In the past I would have worried about a game like this. With vets (esp Shaq) needing motivation to get up for regular season games like this one, the Lakers often coasted, almost indifferently, through such games.

This team is a whole different beast. Our young guys (i.e. just about everyone) have heart and a desire to win and prove themselves each and every night.

We win, focusing on defense, execution and REBOUNDING.
