Was just going to suggest this also. Anybody is an upgrade over Mbenga.

Double-thread? Meh, anyways...why not stock up on another big man? Surely he can't be that bad.

Fresh off of YouTube....that's pretty much what he can do.

In all likelihood he's done, but he'd probably be worth a try.

why not, after what happen to DJ on Wed I wouldnt mind having Maglore. He was an all-star once even though I thought that was a fluke, but he is a big body and we can use that.

He had a good year but yeah it was a bit of a fluke.
Keep in mind he isn't really worth the MLE (if the Lakers had it), so you know there are low expectations. If the Lakers can actually pull it off and get him cheap, sure.
edit: WOW ok I just checked his stats. I might rather get Kwame back.

True, but that's the reason we signed Mbenga over Webber. We wanted a big that could play at least stand in the way defense. I doubt we'd sign anyone else.

I'm just wondering why his stats are like Kwame's when his whole appeal is that he's a big body that can score some points and crash the boards. He played fewer minutes than before so it's more difficult to interpret, but still. Average on D at best.

Hmm, I dont see us waiving Karl. But signing either one for the minimum "just in case" isnt a bad idea.
