Here's a link to the podcast of Phil's interview today. To be honest, this was one of the best interviews I've heard from Phil or any laker personnel in a while. There was no plain simple robotic Kupchak answers. Phil sat down for a really long interview and truthfully answered every question. A recap of this interview wouldn't do it justice so just listen to it when you get a chance. I promise it's good stuff!!

BTW now's a good time to ask you ... when and where did your Avy take place ? everytime i see it
It makes me laugh but also worry cause that looks like it would hurt ... badly and my homie has a similar setting at his house and i couldn't imagine fallling down it

To be honest I have no Idea. Every time someone asks me about my avy, they think it's some practical joke I played on a poor unsuspecting overweight individual. But I just found it on the internet, and was floored the first time I saw it. It's still funny to this day, and I've had it for a few years now. The best past is how she raises her hands when she falls. LOL

He also compared Kobe and MJ.
MJ was stronger with bigger hands and a better post up player. Allowed him to finish better in traffic. Phil also mentioned MJ being a 50% shooter and Kobe has not been able to do that.
He did say Kobe was the better outside shooter

Well, MJ didn't have to be both Scottie and Jordan at the same time.
Kobe's pretty tough in the post, if we only had players who could run the offense and get him the ball.
