We all know what happened when someone posted about how great rockets are playing on the general boards and then Yao mysteriously gets an injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season and post season... Do not make the same mistake and post how great the lakers are playing if they go on a streak.

*KNOCK ON WOOD* only to make sure if this dont post jinx thread ended up being a jinx

was that in general boards? I dont think it matters when its on lakers forum... all teams put up those kinds of threads on their own teams board.

To be fair, Yao had beenn having foot problems for virtually his whole career.

i mostly stay away from the general board. i'm too embarrassed by several lakers fans that seem to be way over zealous. at times the general board looks like the 'los angeles lakers II' board.

*Knocks on wood as well* I really hope this doesn't happen to us either but we already know the feeling ... We didn't have a Yao on our team but with all the loses to this squad the pass 3 or so years we knowq the feeling

Sorry for your lose Rockets fan and hope he recovers healthy and quickly

Ya we know Mang , but P.M LOST ANGEL and Iki4life whatever is user name is .

You know the poster who came on here with Mr Lost Angel and posted his 666 thread about how great the Lakers were doing , on the same day .
The same guy who goes on the general board and gives props to the Cs and tells them that they will win the title this year , and then comes on our board 5 minutes after he left the general board and tells us that were winning the title ......

Tell those 2 posters ..........

Were cool up in here ....MANG

But good looking out .

Now only if we can get Sofa King to stop hitting up on single moms in the grocery stores , then will be cool .

forward this post to 5 friends in the next 10 minutes or you will have bad luck.

Yao Ming didn't forward this message. He breaks his foot in a freak accident.

Dwight Howard forwards this message and becomes slam dunk champion receiving 10s for a shot that wasn't a dunk.

Isaiah Thomas forgot and the knicks have been stuck in mediocre.

Mitch Kupchack forwards the message and has Pau Gasol fall into his lap.

Coincidence? Believe it or not!!!

ok well i really dont care the lakers are the best team and kobe is the best player which should result in kobe winning the MVP which will not be jinxed but turned into a fact at the end of season lol

lol I guess you ight have a point. I am being overly cautious with our team right now just because everybody around me are getting cocky planning the parade already. I hope they aren't jinxing the team. My roomate keeps hoping we meet in the playoffs because he honestly think they will beat us in a best of 7.
