Whoever Terry's guarding should be posting up all game. Kobe always brings his A game against the Mavs and I expect a win. Pau and Lamar haven't played there best ball lately but I expect a big statement on national TV.

Odom guarding Nowitzki = :banghead:

Kobe should come out distributor mode if Terry is gonna be guarding him ... (cause you know the doubles are coming)

And i look for Pau to be aggressive ... Were gonna need Odoms Rebounds because this team feeds off of offensive rebounds ...

Go Lakers 8)

Fisher needs to step up this game, Kobe needs to keep being Kobe, lamar gotta crash the boards and defend dirk well, and pau has to use his quikness on dampier.

A win. Kobe will want revenge from the other night's lackadaisical team effort and will SMOTHER the Mavs mercilessly like how he used to do it. Expect an exciting showdown between the Spaniard and the German, and also Braveheart to outhustle miss Ericka. This is a MUST WIN GAME.

Go Lake SHo!

methinks they will put Kidd on Kobe (aslo Howard/Stackhouse/George), and Terry on Fisher. Kidd has always played Kobe fairly well, the Mavs become a bit more difficult imo for Kobe to pick apart as he did in the past because of Kidd... but, I think this should be a game where we dump it into Pau often + excessivley.

^^21:30 for me! I'm still getting over waking up at 4:30 AM to watch them get beat by the Blazers, so I hope they come out firing with all cannons today.

Go Lakers!

Kidd would definitely be the no. 1 defender on Kobe followed by some equal servings of George, Howard and EJ. Don't expect Jet to guard him much, if not ever. Pau has rarely been a problem for us and it's been really painful to watch him (being my favorite European player) be bullied around easily into submission by Damp/Diop single coverage. But it's a different story this time because 9 out of 10 times we will collapse on Kobe and he'll get a lot of open dunks.

Eitherway I expect a loss since we have yet to jell since the trade in addition to:

1. The game being on Staples. That's almost always a guaranteed loss since that court has some kind of voodoo curse on our team.

2. The Lakers match up extremely well against us.

3. Dallas has never won an afternoon game, as far as I can tell.

Here's to a great game anyway.

We can do this....that Kidd trade really erased any depth fears I might have had at one point for those guys. The team pre-Kidd would have beaten the Spurs on Thursday, whereas this team collapsed more than they normally would have.

the would have won thursday if they have had Kidd in the game for the last play.

Or they could have been up 10+ if Harris had a good game. I would worry about Harris had they still had him for this game
