When he was playing with Utah, he was excellent helping to make big plays and also extremely solid defender, however I noticed that Farmar was the one out there. What was going on? Why is Phil benching his most veteran solid player outside of Kolbe

Fisher has been could lately... shooting something like 25% in the last 12 games... Farmar has been hitting, plain and simple

Fisher down the stretch in that portland game was brutal. Clanking 3 after 3. Same thing today he had a couple of wide open looks for 3 but clanked again. Farmar had 2 huge games in a row. The past two games he's been decent. Phil was right to bench fish. Im thinking it could be fatigue.

I like the idea of having Farmar on the floor down the stretch. This guy makes big plays with his fearless style of play, and he is a very clutch shooter. I have seen him beating the buzzer (not in fourth quarter) a few times this season already. And most importantly, Farmar doesn't defer to Kobe every time, which is a good change of pace for us. He is not afraid to make plays when has the opportunities.

I think that Fish is just winded and Phil, as he does every year, is resting the veteran for the post season. Not to mention Jordan is playing nice basketball.

One of the good things about it was how Fish handled it. He was standing, clapping, and cheering on the bench instead of sulking.

Conceivably, Farmar may be our starter next year, if not sooner...

Fisher was coming off the bench in Utah, so he should be used to it.

I still prefer to see Fish starting though since Farmar gives us a spark off the bench.

Fisher will do whatever we ask of him. That's why he's one of my favorite Lakers. Some of you need to chill out on him. Jump shooters go through tough shooting stretches. I didn't hear all of these complaints when he was red hot. You have to take the good with the bad. He still works hard on the defensive end and can knock down free throws.

I'm sure he will be sharp come playoff time.

Fisher is playing like Kwame, thats why he is on the bench. The dudes game went south. He'll come around come playoff time.

fisher is awesome..he plays with heart, and hes fearless when it comes to shooting...his kinda streaky tho...but i think phil's doing the right thing...
fisher will do his thing in the playoffs

farmar has been getting most of the crunch time minutes the entire season.

DFish is struggling a bit.
Farmar has been playing very well.
Together they are a solid PG combination.
Phil goes with matchups and who is playing better with the group that is out there.
DFish wil get big minutes in the playoffs and some will be in crunch time.
One thing about DFish, he has been there before and he does not make mistakes so I would imagine Phil would prefer him in the playoffs.

fisher is becoming an 11 o clock player

Fisher is a veteran....his time will come...

Phil just wanna tries using Farmar so he gets some exp.....but in playoff time.....Fisher will get most of the time

Fisher might have came off the bench, but he was usually in the game at the end. That's what everyone here is talking about.

The question will remain if Fisher will have enough to play solid for us in the post season
