Is Kobe a man possessed?

Post#1 » by MikeyMike » Wed Mar 5, 2008 8:23 am

I am not saying figuratively...I am saying LITERALLY. Is he possessed by some type of demon, or angel, or higher power?

The guy has always been amazing, don't get me wrong, but...

During tonight's game against Sacramento, in the 4th quarter.
..there was this look in his eyes, as if they were glowing red.

I've been watching Kobe since he was a rookie, and I've never seen so much energy exude from him. He seems like he is just literally on fire. A rage on the court.

Anyone else see something, or Am I trippin?

(Mods please don't lock thread, thank you)

He is not possessed, he is just reenergized. For the first time in his career, he has a team all to himself and has a shot at the shot at the championship at the same time. He has always wanted to be Jordan and now he is in the same situation as Jordan. Who wouldn't be excited to have a chance at matching what Jordan did?

Kobe is an animal plain and simple. If he wasnt playing ball he would be lighting fools up on the football field, or choking fools out in a cage. He is just a ultra competitive killer by nature.

all opposing teams and their fans who saw kobe's transformation through out the game till his body was consumed with some demonic being are shaking in their seats b/c if they meet this kobe its a scary thought of how badly he'll beat their team.
possession, the will to win, re-energized, passion for the game, etc.
whatever you call it, this Man is a cold-blooded assassin
am i the only one liking what happened last night, black mamba showed in back to back games why he should be MVP no matter what that hacked-site nba.com's poll says

Dead serious.

With a few minutes left in the game the camera zoomed in on Kobe's face. The look on his face has been carved in my head, and I just can't get it out.

His eyes were glowing, his face was beaming red. I've never seen any human like that way, except in the movies.

The Knicks board uses the slang, "Beasting it".

Nobody else saw that? That glow coming from his face?

Thanks for posting those, Jordan-Esque.

The top left one really shows what I mean.

Do you also happen to have the clip where Kobe starts heading toward the bench and then starts to violently slap hands with everyone as he sits?

Those would make some nice avis/sigs too.

No, but I have it on Video though I think (if that's the one you're referring to):

It's around the 18 second mark.

P.S.
Feel free to check some of my few other Kobe vids:

Man on a mission to win a chip, simple as that.

His play in the 4th quarters right now is simply unstoppable. He refuses to lose.

I am loving every second of his inspired play. When he plays like that on both ends, we are all witnessing something very very special.

Literally? LITERALLY possessed?

Obviously the answer is yes.

I've seen it many times. He can't hide it. He wears it on his sleeve. Look at Kobe's stare at the hoop next time he shoots his FTs. He is so into the game that his whole system radiates of it, be it good or bad. I have fun predicting make or miss on all his FTs, based on the look in his eyes. I actually called his two misses last night. He looked vain on the two misses and tuned-in on all the makes.

kobe is a man possessed by Jesus. If Jesus played basketball I'm sure his game would resemble kobe bryant's right now.
