Houston gets #22. This game can be a blowout or very close and we lose in the final 2 minutes as our offense will be unable to make shots. Our crappy defense will show. Kobe will either try to look for his teammates or shoot us out of the game. 0-4 road trip is the most likely result, if we are lucky we might go 1-3. By next Friday, we can very well be in the 5th-6th seed.

You folks should know that a guy named "Shane Battier" will be
keeping Kobe in check, right?

Shane is like the younger Bruce Bowen, you know.

If you call holding Kobe to 30 points "keeping someone in check" then i don't know what to say.

Get out.

Go Lakers

Good luck to the Lakers fans.

Should be a big game, even without the bigs from BOTH sides.

Kobe will score a lot on Battier, not because Battier is a bad defender, it's just your #24 is too good!

T-Mac's been on a tear of late, hopefully he continues this.

This will be close - in our last two wins, we have played rather poorly and we were lucky we were playing only Atlanta and Charlotte, otherwise we would've lost.

Tmac for stretches is actually a better defender on Kobe than Battier is. Battier tries really hard, and nothing wrong with that... but he has never really been able to keep Kobe in check at all. If I recall correctly, I think Kobe has had several monster 40+, 50+ point games (on good shooting) on him in the past few years.

Thats true , Battier is avery good defnder against guys like Ray Allen , Peja Stojakovic , or a little bigger and less quicker guys.
Against Kobe he struggles because Kobe has a deadly jumper but Kobe is also quicker than him and can blow by him whenever he wants.
Tracy is a lock down defender when he puts his mind to it.
He has a chance of slowing down Kobe a little if he will guard which is something I doubt because he does everything for us on offense , this might be another 48 min game for T-Mac.
