Is Sasha Vujacic our best PG?
No this is no knee jerk reaction after Fisher and Farmar going into a slump but The Machine has been shooting more consistently and at a better rate from the mid range as well as the 3 and he's less prone to shooting slumps than the other two.
Other than that, he showed great composure with the ball down the stretch tonight especially in the final few minutes of the 4th with double teams trying to steal the ball away all the time while Fisher made a couple of big errors that couls have been costly turnovers towards the stretch.
Add to that his defense tonight against Kidd, which is probably the best D I've seen any PG play on Kidd and the fact that he's more likely to make those clutch shots, he should be regarded our best PG.
He's surely not a playmaker but neither are any of the tri points and his length and tenacity on D make him an excellent pair next to Kobe Bryant in the backcourt and I feel we're rather wasting him at back up SG.

In our system Sasha fits best. Fisher's driving is horrendous and I hate when he tries to create his own shot, he isn't quick enough. Farmar hasn't been playing all that great as of late, but overall in the year he's been solid. Sasha has the effort and as the spot up shooter he's better, he's a better on the ball defender, he's juss overall better in those aspects then the other 2.

call me pessimistic, but sasha is playing for a contract. farmar is the future, otherwise i think he would have been traded instead of crittenton. fisher is a leader that brought back stability to the PG position.
I mean, really did you forget we had Smush Parker starting @ PG last year? don't have to knock Fish and Farmar

I think J-Far meant the other guard spot. Imo, I would agree. Sasha is currently our second best guard, and he'd probably do a better job on defense than Fish or Farmar.
Considering Phil stuck with Smush for 81 games before starting Farmar, I wouldn't count on Phil changing the lineup this season.
But if he did insert Sasha for Fish, and Coby Karl for Walton/Radman, and I imagine our defense (and perhaps our offense) would be much better.

djericho - while Sasha is in a contract year, he's always hustled his ass off on defense. The reliability of his shooting is the one change, but that's probably due to experience, getting more comfortable with playing in the league.

It was Vujacic who hit the winning shot for the bench team to end the Lakers' scrimmage Monday and taunted Bryant afterward about the "white kid busting your (rear)." Bryant smirked in response and said: "Did a 12-year-old just talk (trash) to me?"

I think Sasha has been great he nailed a clutch shot or two in the Mavs game last night.
Jordan needs to work on his passing touch and accuracy like he did his outside shot this offseason. His vision is there but his delivery has really looked like crap for a while. If you check his stats he's not getting many assists, but I think that's poor passing out of his hand more than unwillingness to share.
Fish is streaky, I'll live with that.
I think Sasha definitely is a keeper, but I'm going with combo guard label and not Point Guard, though he could be. We need him to keep shooting.
