I cant stand that fat tub of loud mouth soup! All Fatboy is doing is showing that just maybe Kobe wasnt to blame for the fall of a dynasty. I acknowledge Kobe is a whiner, but that Fat FU is outa control. How much longer before he calls Nash overrated.

This doesnt suprise me. Shaq is classless. He'll take shots on anyone. He said something after he got traded "i havent had a good passer like him in 6 years" or something like that.

Why are we still talking about Shaq? He is not a Laker, he is a Phoenix Sun. He did not even say anything about us! So why are we talking about him? That is why we are getting a bad rep in different fourum's. This should be in the General Board. Not here. We sound like some b#@tches.
Can't we worry about the playoffs. Instead of worrying about what another man is saying about another man?

Actually, Shaq just said that "The Kobester" is the MVP... he did, however, put Amare ahead of KG.

"The Kobester," he said, referencing his old teammate and occasional foil, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers. "He's an assassin, with LeBron [James] coming in right behind. After that, I really haven't been paying attention."

Amid Walker's conditioning battles with Riley, O'Neal went as far as to refer to Walker as "Ruben Studdard," the stocky American Idol champion.

Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? Like Shaq never had conditioning issues....

We all know there was no to little chance that'd we'd have kept both Shaq and Kobe... but is there anyone here that regrets keeping Kobe over Shaq?

Think about it... Shaq screwed every team he's played on in the past... injuries, laziness, loud mouth, disrespecting organizations/personel.

Kobe, on the other hand, has had his off-court issues... but, he keeps playing MVP basketball with a bad ankle, a dislocated/torn-lig. finger (on shooting hand), boxing cuts during games, groin injuries, and the list goes on...

While Kobe is playing his heart out, what is Shaq doing? Disrespecting his former team...

For a guy who allegedly ran Shaq out of town and threw him under the Buss, for a reportedly selfish, whiny, spoiled brat who needed to steal the spotlight from the gentle, likeable giant in order to fuel his destructive ego, Kobe seems to still get a remarkable level of respect from Shaq, especially considering that Shaq badmouthed nearly every significant person from every organization he's been part of.

Too bad Kobe doesn't get the same level of respect from the media as he does from presumably his worst enemy.

Certain guys always get a pass, while some can't catch a break. Whatevers, Shaq will always be the fun big aristotle MDE that all reporters love.

The reporters always loved Shaq since day 1. But you also got to keep note of how much charity work Shaq has done to. Me coming from the inner city in Long Beach know how much he's given and done. Kobe seems to keep to himself a little bit more. Not that there is nothing wrong about that. But he does. I like Kobe, great player. Grew up watching him. But Shaq is such a funny charismatic person.

And that's the misconception of those who let misinformation mislead them.

Why is anyone surprise the Big Fella is on the loose again ? Like you said dub81 why are we concerned about him when he's not even a Laker. I said the same thing last week on another thread about an ex-Laker.

Also dub81 don't pay attention to how we fans are perceived on other boards because they got issues anyway. Success breeds bitchassness because they envy us, because they can never be us.
