I read this yesterday and made a comment on it in the injury thread.
i would not put to much weight on this article because it simply says that he practiced thursday. well he practiced tuesday too and his ankle swelled on wed. I would wait till after friday to see the ankles reaction to the practice thursday then we can get exited about it. otherwise is just another false hope.

Gasol (ankle) is out at least until next Wednesday when the Lakers play Portland, coach Phil Jackson told the Los Angeles Times.

Do we have a **** medical staff or our players just little punks? Everyone is always out for longer than expected except for Kobe Bryant he's a man's man.

hey is there a link for that statement that BOTH will be back on sunday? From what i have been hearing its just Pau and not Bynum. From the last laker news on their site, its just that bynum has started some weight excercises but is still on the special treadmill.

Okay Snaq , I dont have a link , BUT ......
This guy that brings his car to my friends cousins car wash , said he heard his mom's friends sister who happens to cut phil Jacksons sisters hair said that when Phil was over her house , she heard Phil was in the bathroom screaming .
Now she said she wasnt sure since she heard Phil was on the phone and he was talking to someone and he was saying something about Sunday , but mean while he was yelling something .... She wasnt sure if it was Aweee like your taking a doo doo and he constipating or Pau ......like Pau G.... But you have to trust me on this ......
