thank god sasha's contract expires after this year

hopefully we don't re-sign this guy. it's like he doesnt want the lakers to win or kobe to get the mvp. he chucked up the most unneeded threes tonight and has been doing that for a while now. i don't want to re-sign him at all. tonight he probably cost kobe the MVP award. if he hadn't have taken those bad shots we could've actually won the game and then kobe's 53 and 10 would've looked good. it could've even been 60 if sasha knew what the word "pass" meant

The team is called the Lakers. Not the Kobe's. Sasha will be reassigned.

We need Sasha's D on this team

what D? he has cost us tons of games with his flopping. he just always flops and then just gives the other team the advantage because its 5 on 4 while he complains to the refs about a foul.

and i know its not the kobe's thats why i said that his 3's cost us the game. he was just chucking up unnecessary threes. if our gameplan is to shoot threes all day, id rather have kobe do it whos been doing it his whole career and was actually hot in the game from three while sasha was 4-14.

Ronny should be priority #1 though.

I like Sasha and hope that he gets re-signed,but it seems like sometimes he is playing for that next contract.

Sasha does one thing good and he'll do it no matter what.

I believe all the teammates have great confidence in him, by the way they were looking to feed him on every possession down the stretch. Even Kobe after putting up 50 didn't get that many shots at the crunch time.

Well at least he's got some confidence in himself, just look at Luke one missed shot and the night is over for him.

someone has to be willing to take shots. kobe scoring 53 is bad. but the fact that sasha wasn't scared to take those shots, even when kobe was going off shows something.

I like the Machine. Sasha not so much. Because Sasha to me is that player that jacks up shots without disregard to the flow of his own game. The Machine hits those shots and plays like a man posed by Kobe Bryant.

I never did liked Sasha before this season. One good season will make me consider resigning him, however, if there is another option like drafting a rookie, bring in Sun Yue, keeping Coby Karl and developing him, I may go that route if the money to resign Sasha doesn't bold well for the cap.

Lakers already have cap tied up with players like Luke Walton and Vlad. Get rid of one of those players/contracts, then consider resigning Sasha.

oh ok he will be re-signed and THEN he will be traded for a 2nd round draft pick and a bag of chips. he isnt worth more than that in my mind. i dont get why you guys on realgm like him. did you watch the same game i did. the game where kobe had 47 at the end of 3 and where he was hot to start off the fourth? why did they go away from him and go to sasha. when sashas cold, he should be out of the game because he never stops shooting no matter what.

are you saying 4-14 from three is acceptable? like the above poster said, if we can bring sun yue in or get a good free agent in then sasha can kiss LA goodbye

one game, relax. the machine hasn't earned a multi yr contract off a few good games, he sure isn't going to lose one off of one game.

it hasnt been one game. its been all season. hes hit some shots but i mean what i dont like is how he just chucks up horrible shots. remember when he shot a three on a 1 on 3 instead of waiting for the rest of the lakers to get back against the warriors? remember phil jacksons facial expression? that was exactly like mine.

sasha makes horrible decisions and gets schooled by veteran pgs. when he gets stripped a lot when he tries to dribble and when he drives in the lane, he gets the same results as derek fisher. he also flops a lot and like i said before, that costs us. i forgot against who but sasha flopped at the end of a game which tripped someone and caused a foul on us late in the game.
