I expect Kobe will have a Gilbert Arenas type impact and play no defense.

As long as some of the open shots are falling in, I can see the Lakers pulling out a win. Horrible shooting night last game even though the Lakers came close and fought back. A sign of a championship team when you bigs are out, players fighting through injuries, they still have it in them to compete.

Looking how we played the last 2 games, I would say that we deserve to lose this one. No way we'll win with such an attitude.
Will Pau play ?

I hope P.Jackson will not get outcoached again at home. Please, win. We desperately need this W. Kobe, carry the team to the victory.

I hope Kobe doesn't go into that "Last time I scored 53 points and did everything by myself and we still lost, so this time I'll just pass the **** out of the ball and shoot only 7 times" mode... it's not a good time of the season to try to make a point.
Go Lakers!

I hope Gasol can play today.
I like The Wizards and they are doing a great season without Arenas. Otherwise, i heard that Arenas could play today. If he does, and Gasol doesnt, it will be very hard.
Unfortunately, im almost sure that i wont see the game cause it will start at 2:30am here and tomorrow im back at university

Wiz fan here. I hope Gil comes back this game but he probally wont be cleared until after the road trip. I actually like us to win this game if Gasol is out and still give us a solid chance if Gasol plays. If he's out then I like us to win because I think Kobe is a little confused right now. He tried to play the passing game and lost and then last game he got 53 and lost. I think you guys would probally win if he went for like 50 again tonight but because he lost last time, I think he will pull back in this game and score like 20-30, which would probally play into our hands.
I also think Caron wants a big game today. The 1st time we played you was after Caron was out for like 4 games and then he came back against the Lakers. You could tell it was much too early as he sucked and then left in the 1st half of the next game where we then shut him down for that long stretch. Now he's healthy and I think he wants to put on a show tonight. It should be fun either way. I know you guys need it but we need it really bad also because there's a very good chance we will lose tomorrow to the Jazz

If Gilbert comes back tonight, vs his home town team then as a Wiz fan I'd be very upset knowing that he's cheated us out of some games...knowing Gilbert he just might play tonight.

Why? Its not his fault. He wanted to play last Sunday against Detroit but the Doctors wouldnt clear him and told him to wait another week. Today is a week later but I think they will do another MRI 1st and I think they have to be back in D.C. to do that so he probally wont play until Wednesday. Gil however thinks that the doctors still probally wont clear him then. He said that they told him the week before last week that he could play a week later and then last week came and they again said to wait another week. He said that he doesnt think alot will change in a week so he thinks its B.S.
He also has said that they have to give him enough games before the playoffs or it just wont be right. Thats why Wednesday is the big day for sure. If they tell him to wait again then I think he will shut it down because its not enough time for him to knock off the rust and build chemistry with the rest of the team
