OT: Ex-NBA player Rider arrested

Post#1 » by Tommy Trojan » Sun Mar 30, 2008 4:40 pm

The 37-year-old Rider was arrested early Saturday morning for investigation of auto theft and was released from Los Angeles County jail in the afternoon. The sheriff's department Web site said he had been held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Officer Norma Eisenman said Rider was driving a car that failed to stop at an intersection in the city's Skid Row district. Officers checking the license plates discovered the car had been reported stolen from South Los Angeles, police said. Rider was arrested and the car was impounded.

I go through Skid Row on my way back from school, it is the dirtiest past of Los Angeles. All you have out there are either drug dealers or homeless if you are not one of the two I do not know why one would even be in that area.

Ya me too , I also remembered when we were in the playoffs and he was late and his Navigator blew out his tires , instead of getting to the game , he left his Naviagtor in the street and walked to a Bently dealer and bought a Bently and then came to the game late .

He never cared about anyone but himself , and I was a fan of his game .

I thought he would change once he came to LA and P.J got a hold of him .
He never wanted to change , just like Pacman Jones , Michael Vick , Todd Morinivich.

I dont get it , you have everything in the palm of your hand and you throw it all away .

It's a shame.

So much talent, so little self-control.

A career (and maybe a life) wasted.

He had those gay shoes that were like white on the outside part of the foot and then black on the inside part.
