It's could be an awefully short celebration judging by how the Spurs played tonight...

PD is a consolation prize if we don't get WC...

I just hope we have some intensity Sunday.

WTF? We're not Sacramento, we're not Phoenix. Why do you guys care about this crap?

Wake me up if we get to the finals.

Exactly! We do not hang up those banners at Staples, we only care about the real championship in June. Only the Suns fans get a kick out of the PD banner.

That's what I'm talking about. Everybody needs to breath easy slow ya roll we ain't done JACK yet.

I've never got rah rah about a funky division title and neither have the LAKERS thats why they don't hang in Staples Center.

Considering the fact that we nearly had a Kobe trade before the season. Then Bynum got injured. Then we traded for Pau. Then Pau got injured. Now Bynum isn't looking like he's going to be back or in game-shape for the playoffs...**** it, I'm going to type an e-moticon.

I'm not saying it's a huge deal that we won the PD, I wanted to win the West...but considering the fact that this is the strongest Western conference in recent memory and we've done this well then I'm going to at least by happy.

I dig the spirit of that kind of post, but really to be honest: without Bynum anchoring our defense I don't like what I see from this Laker team. We are weak and get pushed around. The playoffs will be even more physical.

Tyson Chandler made us look like a bunch of featherweights in that second half. I know he's good within 2 feet of the basket...but if we can't contain Chandler then good luck against Amare/Shaq or Duncan.

So yeah, am I happy about us winning the division? Of course, if it means beating the Suns. Am I content with anything but a title? No.

Oh bug off would ya,

You might not appreciate it but after everything I've had to endure with my Laker breteren this season, I'm smoking a cigar for this one. I'll start worrying about San Antonio tomorrow.

Exactly....we're all allowed a beer and a cigar for this one. We'll break out the Champagne for the real championship.

I have been celebrating for the last 2 hours. Unfortunately some fans want to try and argue with me because of one little negative comment.

Laker's are the pacific division champs for the 1st time since 2003/2004 and we locked up home court advantage in the 1st round. Thats a huge improvement from the last 2 seasons.
