Yeah we clinched the west and are the #1 seed. But we are not the Western Conference Champions. We got three teams to go through before we can make that claim. But all in all. Great Finish to our season. Let's keep this momentum going!!!!

wow, just wow ... what an amazing regular season this has been . . . im sure yalll remember our first game against the rockets, kobe getting booed by the home fans .... none of us expected we would be making the playoffs.... holy cow, not only did we make the playoffs, but we are the NUMBER 1 **** seed in the western conference..... now, lets take care of our business and bring the trophy back to where it belongs... los angeles

We haven't won anything but the right to face a weaker opponent yet. To be western conference champions, we have 3 tough 7 game series to win first.

Having said that. What a heck of a regular season!

When they were 26-11 and were number 1 in the standings I took a snapshot on bspn.com

I did it again a few times when they gained to the first seed even only if it was for a day or two and I set the pic as my wallpaper...NOW...


it's good to know that I can look back whenever I want at the 2007-2008 standings and will see the lakers at number 1...sounds great!!

We went from getting fisher and i thought to myself that equals about 5 more wins at least and then all of a sudden sasha goes from a practice shooter to a 730pm shooter to the machine...bynum goes from soft high school kid to big man looking to fill in shoes of past laker centers....i was kind of sad to see evans and cook go, especially evans but ariza comes out of no where with eddie jones like slashing ability and defense and then...

I'm at work and at lunch and I turn on my car radio and i hear kwame brown has been traded and before I even know who it was for I thought YES!! THANK GOD...and then when I find out it's for GASOL i thought wow the irony because when GASOL first came to the league I called him a skinny toothpick and said he would never win the ROY, I said this to my friend and lost a bet and now he's on my favorite team and I love it!! I apologize gasol!

then there is kobe who at times when we lost 3 in a row still didn't panic and kept faith in his team, he has done everything on both ends of the floor to make sure we stay afloat even through all the injuries. MVP!
