Has anyone ever seen Kobe using an inhaler dunring any games

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Thu Apr 24, 2008 10:47 pm

I found this idiotic thread by Yours truly Mr etopn23 that is making accusations about Kobe using some sort of inhaler that has corticosteriods .

I have no idea how he can actually see the brand or the type of inhaler that Kobe is using neverhtless what type of chemical is inside of it , but I have never ever seen Kobe use any type of inhalers in his entire career.
Am I alone on this ?

you see Kobe Bryant using an inhaler during an NBA game. Are corticosteroids (assuming it isn't an anabolic steroid) legal? It doesn't seem to make sense how that's allowed..

It looks like an asthma inhaler to me and I dont know how that can be considered ilegal.
I carry one with me and have to have it in certain situations.

not all steriods are illegal.

albuterol is a good example of a chest steriod. its usually comes in inhaler form. look it up.

Yes thats kind of an asthma inhaler and I use it whenever I have breathing problems while suffering from cold. Its normal and its allowed. I believe Adam Morrisson uses more complicated stuff than that.

Just to clear some things up... inhaled corticosteroids are NOT ANABOLIC STEROIDS. They will not turn Kobe into Barry Bonds. They are used sometimes in mild to moderate persistent asthma in order to reduce airway inflammation. There is nothing sinister going on here.

:noway:

*Edit: Not to mention, you don't even know if that inhaler contains corticosteroids at all. It could just be albuterol, which helps open airways and is not a steroid of any sort.

I think it's from the regular season when he got sick and had bronchitis or something similar.

jumping to conclusion to think that all steroids are illegal, omg. read something once in awhile you'll find out that most steroids are legal, its the illegal ones that give the drug a bad name

hasn't Kobe had respiratory infections a couple of times this season?
I seem to recall that he was using an inhaler while playing sick.

That's right, I said it...

On top of being supreme evil incarnate... Kobe's also a crack-head...
