It was funny what the Lakers did with the Nuggets mascot before the game. I never knew why we dont have some sort of mascot. Not sure what it would be, but their usually funny to watch?



Theres a good amount of teams that have a Mascot...would you guys want a mascot? And if so what kind?

Cuz we were the first team with cheerleaders... Laker girls are our "mascot"

We have Jack, Spiderman, Andy, Diane, Denzel etc.

I think we don't have a mascot cause the Lakers actually take basketball serious to be worrying about a grown man in a silly outfit.

We have the coolest mascot in the world, his name is Jack Nicholson.

Every team has cheerleaders though right? Even the teams with a Mascot.

That makes sense, I forgot about the Laker team being the first to have cheerleaders...I remember i saw a special on that on FSN...

We dont have a mascot because we dont need cheap tricks to draw crowds. We dont need some unpaid actor to pump the crowd or do stupid stunts. We dont need some icon showing how we should cheer for our team. No one and I mean no one can ever tell a Laker fan to do something. If there was a mascot I am sure the locos up in 300s would have stabbed, shot, and tucked that sob somewhere no one can find. We here in Los Angeles don't need a false idol to cheer for our team. We have Championship banners those my friends are our Mascots. Those sexy gold things that hang from the heavens and shine down on the opposing team saying you have a long way to go. I cant wait to add another piece of the mascot soon. Cheer on my friends cheer on for our champions. The Los Angeles Lakers.

Regardless, Kobe with the best passing team in the league, the Laker Girls, Jack Nicholson, Yoda Winters, Kareem, Magic, Spiderman, Beckham, Denzel, Garcia is more than enough entertainment impressions in one night.

Maybe you guys were to young to remember the Showtime days but we had a mascot . His name was Dancing Barry, he was a tool, glad he's gone.

Since we're talking about mascots, Mad Dawg Madsen deserves an honorable mention.

Our mascot are the lakes of sweat that our players leave on the floor every night.
