OT: Coaches

So it looks like alot of big teams are switching coaches. Avery and Mike D seem to be gone.
Suns-Jeff Van Gundy
If I was the Suns I would go for Jeff Van Gundy. I know he likes the slow down game and that doesn't coenside with Nash but I think if JVG had Nash he would let them still run but they would also be a good half court team which would run part of the time. The only thing is JVG would have to take it easy with Shaq. Jeff Van Gundy is a much better coach then Mike D. He is one of the best coaches of alltime imo and it seems like the Knicks are going to hire Marc Jackson instead of Jeff.
Jackson-Knicks
The Knicks need structure and a coach who demands attention and accountability and normally I would say a veteran coach but I think Jax is gonna be so good that they should take him up while he is avaiable. I think he will be better then Scott. I see the Knicks trading Zack and keeping Curry unless nobody will take Zack which is possible and they have to keep him and trade Curry. If they can get a taker for Zack they will have a good team for Jax to work with Curry,Lee,Q,Jamal plus there pick. I believe they will get a top 5 pick. The order of for them will be Rose,Mayo,Bayless,Gorden. I think they will end up with O.J. and him and Jax will turn that team around. I see them unless they drop the ball on the draft pick or get screwed in the draft they will make the playoffs. I believe Jamal Crawford is one of there better players and one who doesn't need to go so they will play O.J. at the point with Jamal sharing duties for the first year and the other guys they would draft if not Mayo will be pg's to.
Mavs-Mike Dantoni
They could go with Jeff as well or try but I wouldn't see the point of firing AVery and then hiring Jeff. Don't get me wrong Jeff is better but they are simillar and it just wouldn't make that much sence. When they traded for Kidd I knew Avery was gonna be out. A Jason Kidd team needs to be coached by Jason Kidd and the coach has to be a guy willing to let him be the real coach. Mike fits the bill perfectly and the fact that he is a full court running coach is exactly what they need. They need to run run run espially while Kidd still has some gas left. As a running team they would be more successful. They run now but not nearly as much as they should. I would even consider playing Dirk at the 5 Bass at the 4 Howard at the 3 and Terry/Stackhouse at the 2 and Kidd at the 1. That is a great running team. Also his practices are very light which will help Kidd.
Nuggets- Jeff Van Gundy or Mike D
These are two complete opposites ways of going but they both could work. George Karl is a defensive coach but not like Jeff. If Jeff could get them to play D they would be a very dangerous team like they should be and they should be on both ends espially D with Camby and Kmart they shouldn't be a easy team to score on. Of course they might just go after Artest and have 3 of the top 10 best defenders in the starting lineup in Kmart Camby Artest and I think Artest would have no problems playing the 2. They backcourt would be pretty insane (literally not meaning great players) in AI and Artest but with Iverson and Melo scoring and being possibily the best scoring due in the league they should be contenders although when your best 2 players don't play D the other guys really need to d up.
The other option is to hire Mike D and be like the Suns and not worry about D and just try and outscore everybody which is something they would be good at. I don't know if they would win a championship like that but they could be the new Suns. I know AI isn't Nash but his scoring makes up for that and his open court skills and pg skills are very underrated.
I have more but wife needs the computer so I need to finish in a little bit.
