Official Najera Thread!

Post#1 » by MikeyMike » Thu May 1, 2008 12:47 am

Per the wiretap
http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/ ... nt_waters/

Najera wants to get out of Dodge, and I don't blame him at all.

I have always really liked this guy's game, he's a true hustle player and does a lot of positive things on the court. His defense is pretty good and he also has a reliable jumpshot. He's never been a superstar but he's always played for good teams and gave great energy off the bench.

A true role player.

He can be had for the MLE or less.

On a side note, I could only imagine how well his jersey sales will do...I believe he is the only Mexican player in the NBA, he would have a huge fan base in Los Angeles.

OT, Najera looks like a real pasty Incredible Hulk, with a third grade haircut. Great energy though.

For me, Eduardo is worse than Walton at the 3, and worse than Turiaf in the frontcourt, so I'm not sure how valuable he'd be as a third or fourth stringer.

The only on-court value he has in my book is that he's a bruiser. If he were a Laker, I don't see him getting any significant PT other than against Paul Pierce and Caron Butler

Coming from a Mexican American, I can truely say I hate the man with a passion.

Its just one of those players you hate with a passon when theyre out on the floor.

No way.

Najera would be the last FA on my mind. Rather have Sun Yue come over and be a bench warmer.

The Chineese must have hidden him somewhere. Might resurface during the olympics.

Coming from another Mexican-American I'll say it in my native tongue, "Chale holmes" to us getting Najera.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
