Critt- 18.1 mins 7.4 points 40% fg 26% from 3 69%free throw 3.2rebounds 1.2 assists .4 steals

Brian Cook- 11 minutes 2.3 points .5 assists 1.7 rebounds 19% fg 3point 20% .3 steals 0 blocks

Maurice Evans- 24 minutes 48% 39% 3 point 3 rebounds 1 assists and 9.3 points

I know Brian Cook has put up crap numbers but look at Kwame Brown, he is clearly the worst player in the league. I can't believe out of all the Lakers traded he is the guy some of you guys want back. As long as the Lakers don't drop the ball and sign him he will surely be out of the league this year coming or at best be a Jeloni McCoy a guy who gets called up for 10 day contracts here and there. For those of you who liked Kwame can I ask you did you like Kandi as well?

Farmar compared to Critt is exactly what we thought. Critt might have more talent, he has more athletism and speed probably and natural talent but Farmar is a harder worker and smarter and takes better shots. Critt might be a Jamal Crawford, Francis type player only with D.
Farmar will be a Tony Parker type player.

farmar completely fell off second half of the season...

critt is still a rookie, and i follow some grizz games..he shown a lot of flashes and looks like he can be soemthing in the future...i read some of the grizzlies forums...not realgm.

some of them even said they would rather have Critt over Mayo

Wait, were'nt you the one that was clinging to Crittenton's ___ ever since he was drafted?

Farmar fell off completely since the warriors game. But recently he is realizing that his job is to pass the ball to best player in the game and other best players on the team. He is not the creator, he has to realize he is still at best a back up. Back ups don't create for starters, as a back up you are merely part of the offense , you are not the offense. He's been doing that the last two playoff game.

you are going about judging Kwame the wrong way.

first- he was purpously not given the chance to play in Memphis. his purpouse was to be salary releif and not be intergraded in to the line up. he might have average 13 minutes, but he didn't play 13 minutes every game since he got there.

second- some of us do want him back, but we want him at the right price. at the vets min or less. he would be usefull, in fact, we could use him on Boozer this up comming series,. if we make it to the WCF to face the Spurs. I would rather have Kwame contain Duncan than let him score at will on Odom.

third- as much of an offensive liabilty as he was, there are certain quality intangebles that he brought to the defensive end agains certain players that he has been missed. our weakness is our defense.

fourth- if we do get him back, it willl be on the cheap side so it wont hurt to have him, plus he will be fully healthy for next year. and every time he drops a pass at least this time around we will always laugh at his salary because it will also be a joke.

Nah kwame only offered strength and one on one defense. Other than that on pick and roll he was horrible than shaq. He would look utterly confused. He couldn't block shots because his arms were so short. He basically made the game 4 on 5 on offense and defense (when there were no post threat)

I didn't say he was DPY quality. I said he brought certain quality intangibles to our defense that we don't have now and for a bag of chips and a birthday cake he is worth it.

Wow at Crittenton! I'm proud of him, i see he has a lot of potential. Good for him.

I wouldn't ,ind have Kwame Brown back in fact i would like that.

Kwame wasn't a great defender. He was a horrible shot blocker and didn't get alot of the defensive schemes and switches. He was good at one aspect of the so many aspects of the game and that was on the ball D. That is it.

Yes I was. It was partly because he was one of the guys I watched in college and never thought we would have a chance with him. I thought he would surely be a Clipper. (They made the right choice though with Thorton).
You guys thought Farmar would be better and I said Critt would probably be better and I am not sure if I was wrong. I believe I was wrong and hope I was.
Here is the deal on them 2, Farmar is the safer pick because he is surely gonna be so solid and has superior work ethic. He also is a more pure pg.
Critt is one of those potential guys. Has the potential to be a perenial allstar but you never know if he will reach it. I am kind of surprised they went with Farmar when you think of Critt size although Farmar plays like a Vet and can hit the 3. Maybe Phil is only gonna be there for 2 more years?
Those who say they would rather have Critt over O.J. are retarted. Mike Conly is not a Chris Paul type player. He is not a Kwame bust but he is a Andrew Bogut, Marvin Williams bust were he will probably be a good player but went way to high. Even if they get O.J. Conly can come off the bench or Critt can and if they all play great then they can trade one of the 2. If they don't get the #1 or #2 pick and get Rose or Beasley (I know they don't want Critt over Rose) maybe they will get the 4th pick and Mayo will be gone and they could get Lopez or something.
They have the 4th or 5th worst record in the league I think (going off memory so sorry if I am off) and they should be thinking should they draft Bayless and normally I say go for the talented guard like Paul should have went first and Williams second and when Bogut went first I thought that was the dumbest thing I have seen until I saw the Hawks draft Williams over Paul I wasn't sure what was worse but in there case they probably should take the chance and draft a big because they have a great backcourt in Conly and Critt (they should start both) and because they have 2 pg's there big will be successful who will probably be Brook Lopez unless they win the lotto.

Is there anybody who would rather have Critt over Farmar? I know before the season started I was a Critt guy but in my own defense Farmar didn't play great in the summer and I had no idea how good his work ethic was.

High Risk High Reward. Farmar is no risk. Critt is either gonna be really good or a underachiver.

That is because he is a scrub. If he was any good they would give him minutes and he would be cap relief and a decent player they would try and resign just for cheaper. I think even though some fans haven't learned but I hope the front office learned Kwame made us worse.
