these guys just can't win on the road. they are not resembling a contender at all. it seems like their play has dropped since the playoffs started.

There's a playoff thread, but yeah they should be worried. They do have homecourt, but assuming they get by the Cavs, the Pistons are fully capable of stealing a game in Boston. Regardless of the Celtics struggles though, if we make the finals, I do not want to face them, we don't match up well with them.

They suck... I dunno whats wrong with Ray Allen but he looks like Jordan Farmar out there... Paul Pierce isnt that good lately either... KG is always settling for outside jumpers... Cassell is just horrible...

Give me Boston over Detroit all day

It's matchups, although I agree, Allen is just playing terrible ball. Pierce can't get anything on LeBron and their frontcourt can't push the Cav's frontcourt around, so their struggling.

my bad. should have checked first. i myslef think we can beat the celtics. they look average at best right now. i think all those regular season minutes are catching up with them. plus if things keep going the way they are going it will only confirm these guys are chokers. i mean none of them have ever even sniffed a finals.

As much as I hate to say it, the Celtics fans are probably saying the same thing about our Lakers after 2 losses on the road to Utah.

However Celtics may be plagued with 2 many chefs in the kitchen.

We lost two winnable games to the best home team in the league... They lost 3 games to the 37-45 Hawks and 2 games to the 45-37 Cavs... Outside of LeBron the cavs are a team of jumpshooters and they havent had an answer for them in Cleveland... Wally freaking Szczerbiak has been better than Ray Allen for crying out loud

Agreed. If its the Celtics vs. Lakers then the Lakers have nothing to worry about....C's are playing like CRAP.

Yeah, they suck on the road, but they are BLOWING OUT every team they play at home with ease. And they have the home court advantage throughout the NBA playoffs. I don

It's their ugly-ass away Unis...

As far as I'm concerned, they're still the team to beat.

And I hate Lakers-vs-Celts discussions right now because it's just TOO DAMN EARLY...

We got 2 to take from the Jazz right now.

Their achilles heal is their coach. But they're still talented enough to win it all

Pistons are a very scary team, too. But until Celtics lose at home, they'll remain the favorite to win it all, in my book. Whoever of the two that comes out of the east will be very tough to beat.

Rondo is an achilles heal of theirs on the road. But again, they don't have to win on the road. Like Charles said, "... they can look at their road trips as vacation time. All they have to do is to take care of business at home".

why are talking about finals, when we still have to take care of utah, winner of game five normally wins the best of seven,so we should be thinking about game five not the c's

The Cs are no longer contenders , they're just another team in the Playoffs .
As far me , I could careless about any other team , other than the Lakers and the only team Im affraid of ....Is the Lakers .
I think we can take it all , and I do give props to Utah for holding up their H.C.
These playoffs are going to fall on who can hold the H.C.A .
If we can then great but the first team that looses that will loose the series .
Lets keep our H.C and get to the W/C finals .

The Celtics are even more of a jump shooting team than the Pistons imo
