Go get em!!

Post#1 » by Jazzfan Bayamon » Sat May 17, 2008 5:24 am

Congrats on a great series... as most of us Jazz fans feared you guys were the worst possible matchup, and there you go. I'm really proud of my guys, and now tell you: Go get em!!

IMO the winner of this series was the next champs, so it's (unfortunately for me :() you guys.

You've got a great team, and one more guy rooting for you to finish the rest of the league off.

thanks man...

you're one of the good guys on the jazz side...

your team fought hard, on all 6 playoff games..and its probably tough for you guys right now..but coming back from a 16 pt 4th quarter deficit, speaks alot about your team..

again, thanks bruh!

Thank you man, that was a GREAT series. Utah has a solid core, just a small tweak here and there and we will definitely see you in the WCF next year! Again, good game.

The Jazz is a formidable opponent, and I always have tremendous respect for them. A hard-fought series, tremendously entertaining.

Thanks for the good wishes, good luck next year. We'll probably meet every year for the next 5 years.

Well it went a game longer than I expected but a pathetic effort by Utah for the first three quarters tonight. We really blew it this season, you guys should have Bynum back (barring he doesn't get injured again next season) and dominate again. Wasted opportunity right here.

Kobe had some memorable moments this series. The third quarter of game 2, posting up Brewer and getting some ridiculous shots off of the glass, that pass off the glass in game 3, the runner over Millsap tonight and the bank shot over Harpring. He had his weak moments in the series but he really came through when it counted, that's why he's not only the MVP but the best player in the world too.

Good luck against the Spurs. (I really don't want to see the media hype over CP3 in the WCF.)

Time for me to find a new hobby.

One other thing, some of the Jazz fans were total retards in this series. They calmed a bit after the series was tied, but all of the 'rapist' nonsense and 'Laker hate' was really immature and annoying. Not so much on this site but on another Jazz board that I read. And then the home fans chanting 'referees suck' when clearly they should have been booing the home team for a PATHETIC effort. in the first three quarters. Earlier in this series that other board was somewhat embarassing and unreadable.

Well, it was great series and I'm somewhat sadden that utah lost the series... but the better and the more talented team won in the end. ^^; I hope it turns into a Lakers vs. Celtics series like everyone says and you know I'll be rooting for the west side.

So keep the nba title in the west, where it truly belongs. *laughs* I won't say good luck 'cuz the lakers are already talented enough to pull it off and we'll see you all next year. :wizard:

hey good job guys, that was a fun series. hopefully the jazz get some interior defense and come back with a vengeance next year!

you can talk about officiating, homecourt and all that other stuff, but in the end the Lakers seemed to play every minute of every game; they deserved the win.

I must say it was a battle that I will never forget. The Utah Jazz is a very powerful team and watching two titans going at it is amazing. Williams, AK47, Boozer, Okur, Bryant, Odom, Fisher, and Gasol has put on a show that I'll never forget. I'm not about to over look the bench either steller play for both benches.

Well I don't think the Spurs will be as tough as the Jazz because you matchup much better with them. You won't face the strong rebounding and the porblem Okur gives from the perimeter against the Spurs. Pau should almost cancel out Duncan, Odom will have a huge advantage, and your bench will own theirs. And of course you'd probably mop the floor with the Hornets. Also, Kobe is just on another level and it's not because he's getting calls again (last two years... no whistle) but he's at a point no one had been in in 10 years (see 2008 minus 10) so I don't think any team can really beat you guys (hoping for no freak injuries). Spurs (next round, Celtics finals) would have the best shot, but I think both WC series would end in about 5 games for you guys.

Since D. Will, Millsap and Brewer have already been mentioned, props to AK-47, I love to his game.

From another Jazz fan, congratulations on the series triumph.

Superior talent always wins in the NBA, and this match-up was no different. Add to that the theoretically unguardable offensive system, a tangibly unguardable player, and the game's greatest active coach, and you have the makings of a champion. Probably the team to beat in the foreseeable future.

A local bookmaker is holding a couple of bets I placed weeks ago saying just as much.
