Kind of off topic, but I want to see if this happens to everyone else? For those of you who have laker flags on your car, do you guys constantly run into a lot of laker fans on the street also? I'll be at a red light, and someone will pull up to me and give me a fist pump, or scream "gooo lakers!" because of my laker flag on my truck. Does this happen to anyone else? This seriously happens all the time. At least 3 times a week. I think it's AWESOME! The other day, i was at a red light. And I hear some honking so I turn to my left, and I see this old lady (she had to be in her mid 60's) and she gave me the thumbs up and screamed "lakers!!!" at the top of her voice. There is definitely a lot of laker love going around right now, and it's spreading!!
Also, I was at the freeway series this weekend, Dodgers vs Angels. And for those of you who've never been to an angels vs dodger game it's definitely like stepping into a gang fight where you have to choose sides. There were fights EVERYWHERE. I mean EVERYWHERE. I remember just walking to the concession stand to get a beer and everyone was drunk just talking sh** on eachother and everyone's trying to fight. I'm not really a big baseball fan, if I had to choose I'd probably like the angels over the dodgers. But I"m happy with both. So as I was walking back up the aisle to my seat. Everyone saw that I had my yellow lakers shirt on (this was saturday by the way, the day after we closed out utah) And I screamed, Screw the dodgers and Angels. It's Laker time right now! And everyone, started cheering. It was great! I even got a little GO LAKERS! chant going on in my section as I was walking up to my seat. People were high fiving me everywhere I went. Just felt like I should share this story. There is a lot of laker love going on right now. Hopefully we can keep it going!
