What The Lakers Are Saying:

"There's certain areas there, where we have to minimize their open looks," Bryant said. "Some of those shots if they knock down, all of a sudden it cuts a 12-point lead into a nine-point lead and things can kind of get mucked up. Those are the shots that they aren't going to miss the next game."

"This series is far from over. It's probably going to be even more than what we expect as far as the intensity and how hard they're going to be playing and how focused we are going to have to be to try to go out there and come out with a win. We are going to have to be even more ready than we were last time."

"They're going to be hungry," Lamar Odom said. "This is a team that's won championships before, they know what it takes. We have to get ready for a fight."

looking at your sig, you are not part of "us". ;)

kobe and pau are going to have to set the tone early. game two it was fisher and odom, but on the road the lakers need their two stars to step up.

Spurs are going to be up for this one, if laker win it's going to be a squeaker.

.4 the sequel?

probably not, but it's going to be a close one down to wire if lakers pull it out.

but I'll take it, 30 point blow out @ staples, or 1 point win on a last second shot, it's still the same 1 game.

i think we win this one by 10 points or better. we have worn them down mentally and physically. the crowd will have them hype for the first few minutes but if we can keep our poise, and stay close or take the lead I think they fade. we are just to good imo to lose. if odom and pau can bring their a games along with kobe the spurs have no chance. our big 3> their big 3.

Can't wait for the game to start...

No doubt they'll be up for this game. We gotta do what we've done the last 5 and a half quarters, though -- the defensive intensity and focus, overrall, has gotta be there.

Gotta do what they did to the Suns (and what the Hornets failed to do to them) -- stomp out (pretty much) any hope they have of winning the series. The difference between being down 2-1, and 3-0 is absolutely huge (obviously).

....Go Lakers!

Kobe's seemed due for another dominant game along the lines of game 2 versus the Nuggets for a while now.. I think we'll see another one of those games either today, or in game 4.

Be careful what you wish for.

If the Lakers eliminate the Spurs, that means that there is an even better team than the Spurs for you to face in the Finals, possibly.
