You know what I don't get? Tiger Woods is more Asian (50%) than he is African American (25%), but why is he always considered an African American athlete? Why not Asian athlete?

I can see it now. As he enters the stage to receive his BET award, Mad Dawg showcases his patented dance to the song "Who let the dogs out, woof, woof, woof, woof". The crowd goes silent.

Because some of us aren't hung up on what race someone is.

We judge them based on the color of their skin as any reasonable person should.

well you just missed the point. He asked why he is considered an african american athlete vs. an asian athlete ( which he is more) and your response?

because some of us aren't hung up on what race some one is
?

explain to me how that makes sense based on what he [miles] posted?

Reasonable? Funny, because what you just wrote sounds like the definition of racism.

My guess is that theres more controversy if theres a black guy playing golf than if there was an Asian.

Controversy + Sports = Ratings

But I see what you are saying.

Yep, I have been saying that all these years. If you disregard him as a "Cablinasian," then he's Asian.
