Keys to the Game:
- Rebound the ball. We don't have to win this category, but we have to keep it close. We have to go for those loose balls like we have in other big games.
- Sasha, play some real defense. None of that flopping crap, do the officials ever call it for you. It's tough going through all those screens, but you have to quit trying to sell the call.
- LO must play off the ball. Garnett is going to be doing a bit of roaming, that's where Lamar has to get free and get easy looks for himself or others.
- Quicker rotations. The C's beat us with big three's the last game, limit them. Make Rondo shoot.
- Relieve Kobe on defense. We can't have him guarding three to four different players each game.
- Attack the rim. Tough to do against the Celtic defense, but we seemed to do it well in the first half.
- Kobe, make those mid-range shots. We can't win games with you shooting so poorly.
- Phil must make adjustments, make Doc think, that can only help us.
- We have to out hustle them. We're the road team, we need those extra possessions.

This is a must win game, I think we'll bring it.

Go Lakers!!!!

We need this game period. Two reasons why, if they come back 1-1 the next two games are in quick succession ( G3 on Tue. & G4 on Thur.)

Not enough time for the "older' guys on the Celtics to recoup energy.
Take those two because it's a 2 day break before Game 5 on that Sunday. Plus with Paul's and Perkins injuries being something to watch now quick games work in Lakers favor.

But all is for not if we don't get this game.

This game is HUGE! The Celtics really haven't been playing good road basketball all playoffs long, if we can put pressure on them by winning tomorrow it gives the upper edge by far. We have been the best home & road team all playoffs long & we need to show up to win. Only 2 teams have ever come home & taken all 3 home games since the Finals went to the 2-3-2 format in '85 only once has it been done when the teams back was against the wall down 0-2. We have the tools to be the 3rd team to take all 3 @ home but if we don't take tomorrows game all 3 become must wins & that's a lot of pressure on a young team

no more finesse flip shots @ the basket, Lakers need to attack the basket put it on the refs to blow the whistles. Ariza has to get some mins on Pierce, especially when Radmanovic and walton are basically not able to produce.

i honestly think we will bring it. i think guys were just a little nervous being in their first finals and being so young. we will start to knock down those open looks we had. we also need to speed the game up a little. the only thing i am upset about is we let one get away. we know we can play with them at their place. a few bounces, and we win. if we play the way we played in the second quarter for an entire game they will not be able to hang with us.

we lost game 1 because Radman cant even guard Pierce who was on only one good leg.

Ariza. bring him out. it would also be nice to see DJ Mbenga in spot minutes when we need a crucial rebound. how tall is he?

he's just so stupid on offense.
