Lakers fans
Hi,
I'm a Celtics fan. Good game last night. It was a Garden Massacre but you guys somehow came very close at the end.
Now, the reason I made this thread is just to let some of you know that you really need to stop crying about the no calls, or calling it a poor officiating game. As I remember many of you came to Boston board saying we Bostonians shouldn't complain about lousy calls and should just play the game. You got beat first game. You got beat the second blow-out game. You can only rely on 3pointers and that's about it.
So, let's not complain about the refs. Just play the game.
Good luck in the next 3 games. You'll need a miracle to pull this off.

Ok Celtics fan. Do you really think this game wasn't poorly officiated? What if it was Detroit that was playing the Lakers and you saw those same calls for both Boston and LA? How would YOU have seen how the game was played?
I ask this question because it seems to me you're here trying to provoke an all-out attack from us Laker fans. You would not have the balls to come on this board and say that we 'shouldn't complain about lousy calls and...play the game' if Pierce wasn't bailed out on that last play.
I'll admit we did take a lot of 3 point shots but that was because Kobe was getting nut-hugged on drives to the basket with no calls and if you saw TV replays of Gasol getting hit on the wrist by KG on drives to the basket then you can at least understand the frustration that I feel personally about the refereeing decisions.
Come back to this board and say the exact same thing and start a whole new thread when Boston is getting screwed like we were in game 2.

Its actually just one fan getting cocky and CelticsDiesel was already cocky/confident before this series started. Some of the LA fans did say that they didnt want Boston fans to complain about the refs as he did say though, however its time to go to LA for three and this series is far from over.

thats because there wasn't much to complain about. the Spurs especially Bowen did a great job at not fouling. the refs home cooking did not affect the game as much as it did last night in game 2.DieselCeltic wrote:haha, I didn't see any Lakers fans complaining when they played Spurs.
you can't be serious and just chuck it as this happens all the time because it doesn't. not this bad it does not. I am not one to complain much about the refs, but the fouls called on the Lakers did change the momemtum in the Celtics favor many times. the ticky tacky fouls on Kobe also changed the game.
the biggest testament was the the ABC announcers complaining about the bad calls. this guys 99.9% of the time agree with the refs reguardless of how bad the calls, but last night they called out the refs...oh wait you guys probably didn't hear that because you were telling us to STFU or maybe you did and still lack balls to remove the homer goggles and call it for what it was.

L.A. women > Boston women
L.A. weather > Boston weather
L.A. racism < Boston racism
No wonder you chowderheads love your cheating (Pats) flopping (C's) irrelevant (Bruins) borring (Sox, and regular season baseball) teams, you really dont have much after that.
Even with Celtics fan coming here and starting these posts. I expect Lakers fans to handle themselves better than this. These types of posts are not tolerated.

What the hell does women, weather, or racism have to do with basketball?

If the Lakers get the same hometown treatment that the Celtics got then I really hope I dont see a single post from you about the officiating

Sorry fellas, but you brought this on yourself by coming to our board and INSTRUCTING us not to complain when the calls inevitably go the Lakers' way, and the wins inevitably go the Lakers' way. We were supposed to be bigger than that but I guess you don't hold yourselves to the same standard. Honestly, what fan is bigger than that?
WE'RE JUST RETURNING THE FAVOR.

I am coming from neutral territory.
I am a knicks fan and i have watched both games from start to finish.
And i have to STRONGLY agree with the Lakers fans here...The refs were absolutley horrible in the first two games.
I mean ...in Game 1...THe Celtics were already in the Penalty with like...8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter...(maybe it was 2nd) as well as being in the Early penalty for pretty much every quarter.
Gasol got hacked a few times that got no calls, Same with Kobe
Game 2...same story...Kobe got called for 3 early fouls, which were all VERY QUESTIONABLE calls....none of those 3 are calls that you make. Then he gets hit with a technical for complaining?
it was pretty fairly called through that Laker comeback (up untill the point they called a foul on that paul pierce drive....wow)
Horrible Officatiating these passed 2 games..
To be honest...Celtics have been getting alot of calls their way on their home court in the playoffs...maybe that has a play on how great they have been at home?
I dunno...But the lakers need a miracle to win...especially if the serires goes back to boston

Hey Bean Boy .............. You know how you guys reply to our posts no matter what we post good or bad?
I'll do the same ................. **** off and go back to your **** board.
For starters this game was so lopsided that even Vegas was confused.
The Lakers were playing 3 teams.....
The Cs, the Reffs, and Vegas.
Every call was B.S I can sit here and name every single one play by play.
So nobody from the Lakers board complined about the gift last night, when this game was ALLOWED to play by the reffs you guys got your A55es handed to you.
Pau basically had his way with your little ticket.
Good job on the win, but for your joe dirt Trolling A55 to come on here and start a thread about last nights game and talk **** , your nothing but a troll and Baiting Laker fans, like you guys love to disrespect us when we post over there............. Get the **** off our board........Troll.

You clearly dont like the Celtics, you were on the Cs board the other week saying you were "neutral" but always side against the Cs.
