Kobe to Drop 50-60 in Game 5?

Probably not, but who misses the old Kobe sometimes. The one who would take the game into his own hands and desimate his opponent. Just once in awhile I think he needs to do this. I just don't want the Celtics to win the Championship on our home floor. Period. I want that game in Kobe's hands, not Farmar, Vlade, Walton, Turiaf, etc.
So dissappointed...

He did try to take the game in his hands, and then he missed most of his shots and the Celtics took advantage of his (and his teammates) mistakes and rallied to beat them by six. It's as simple as that IMO.

Hopefully not. It will take a team effort to win, not one player going off.

When the Lakers are rolling, Kobe sits back and let them go off. And try to pick up when they need him.
Lakers bench was good in the first half, but dissapear in the 2nd. Kobe should have taken over more early in the third and put the Celts on their hills, but it was too late in the 4th and momentum was too strong.
Obviously, the Lakers can't keep it rolling forever and will dissapear at some point.

Whatever...he might as well. If you're going down...might as well be shooting.

50-60 and end up losing? He's better off getting 30 and keeping his teammates involved. Only if they could step up...

The rest of the world would love to see Kobe score 60, because you can't win without playing the team game. Kobe is too smart to stop sharing the ball

NO! What sort of Laker fan are you? I like to think of myself as an overly pessimistic supporter of the team from Los Angeles. Yeah ok we lost with that 24 point lead. It's heartbreaking, tragic and just down right sad to be a Lakers fan right now. But don't put your gear away.
We're still Lakers fans if we lose in 5,6,7 or win in 7. Don't count us out just yet.

Yeah and give the haters more fuel? His shot wasn't falling tonight (except for the 4th quarter) and was aggressively defended in those defining 18 minutes... so he trusted his teammates and passed them the ball. Yeah, 10 assists isn't exactly not involving his teammates, like every freaking reporter harps about. Involving teammates, making teammates better, getting everyone involved, blah blah blah.
What a total load of crap. I think I would've felt better had he just launched a turnaround J on every possession over the 3 defenders. If you go out, might as well go out with a bang.
