We can still win this series, I think we'll def win nex game

Post#1 » by marik1234xx » Fri Jun 13, 2008 11:50 am

The key to winning is Rondo.

If he's on the floor everythin is going to go our way.

If House is on the floor...we're just not as good.

That's why I think we still have a great shot left to win this series. Thankfully because of the Finals format we get Game 5 at home.

We'll come out strong with energy and build a good/big lead and because Rondo will be in there but we need to figure out a way to play when House is in instead of Rondo.

AND PLAY HARD EVEN WHEN WE HAVE A BIG LEAD, that killed us last night in the 2nd somewhat, we coasted a lot when we had a big lead.

And Kobe has to stay aggressive the whole game, and Odom/D-Fish have to play a lot and all crucial times/moments.

If we win on Sunday we can go in to Losston and win Game 6...then it's anyone's game in a Game 7 situation.

We just need to figure out a way to MAINTAIN and HOLD our LEADS...that's the key.

I don't even feel like ****in talking tho...this was so ****in gay..it feels like you're ****in dying ****in bull****...

What I'm mad about mainly is the fact we STILL lost even when we were not only up by 24 but that the refs were basically HANDING the game over to us in that 1st quarter which was how we did beastly a little...They were on our side for the 1st half but those *****es did some gay **** in the 2nd half. I also think the Lakers got overconfident because of that...they felt like they could get nearly anything they wanted so they coasted a little and lost some energy...of course it hurts though that Fish and LO weren't even in the game...****in gayass loss tho **** bs.

We better win Game 5 and win this ****in series.

Just gotta take Game 6 on the road tho...we basically have to win 2 games.

Gotta win these next 2 games.

I KNOW we'll be in the position to win, WE JUST HAVE TO CLOSE IT OUT. We WILL have a BIG LEAD EARLY in the game, WE HAVE TO MAINTAIN IT AND WIN THE GAME. That's for Games 5 & 6 and 7 if we make it past 5. We have to figure out a way to stop them with House in, and play our best players...and Kobe has to stay aggressive...and our best players such as Fish, LO and Pau have to show up...and the roleplayers too and everyone has to make their shots including LO, Fish, Pau, Sasha, Vlad, Farmar and Luke...and even Ariza and Ronny...and make our FT's too...how the **** did we score 58 ****in points which is almost 60 in the 1st half and then not even break 100 to finish the game and only ****in 33 in the 2nd half....I'm ****in mad as ****.

I know we can still win this series...but it hurts talking about it and the feeling to talk about it isn't there...

You do know you are 3-1 down right ? You do know that no team in the history of the NBA has made a comeback after being down 3-1 in the finals. Quit fooling yourself. Even if you win game 5, its 3-2. Theres two more games in Boston. You think you'll win 3 straight.. Dream on...

I really hate people like this, so lets look at it like this, as long as LA wins game 5, then its 3-2, just think about it as the c's won game 5 instead of game 4, people wouldnt be going as crazy, but either way its still 3-2 after 5, can LA win 2 straight in boston, of course. and they proubly will.

Well, although I do not share their sentiments, they say that hope dies last.

It died with yesterday's 3rd and 4th quarter for me, but you can't blame a fan for believing until the end.

You guys still have the best player in the league on your team, he might be just a lil bit pissed off with the way things went down in game 4. One thing I fear is a pissed off 24 if anyone can come back from 3-1 he is on the short list of players capable of pulling off that feat.

Being pissed off and choking is two different things .
We CHOKED and your team had heart and they didnt give up.
I give credit to Ray and K.g and the rest of your team, but I have no respect for Paul Pierce specailly the last foul that was called on Kobe.
To me that was a joke, but if the Cs win the title, I think your MVP should be Ray and K.G hands down.
Thats the truth, as a fan I hope we can comeback but its going to be a long uphill battle.
But thanks for the kind words Mang.

Look man all things being told you do know that some Laker fans did go to your board last night and gave props to your team so far for controlling the series don't you ?

The mere fact that no team has never come back from 3-1 is not deniable but that also it's not like it can't be done. All I'm saying is let these guys here have some belief, I don't think it's the right time to come and shove it in our faces.

Yup.

Just believe and do what you know will work.

Winning this series isn't impossible, it's just become more difficult now.

I am going to unlock this thread. However, please note that Celtic fans wont be given any leeway -- for trolling our board and being, well, a bunch of sore winners.

Laker fans- remain cool, and dont feed the trolls.

I don't know about winning the series. the thing is that we were not suppossed to be this far this year. we have already overachieved and the fact that being in this years finals is only the beginning is what keeps me going.

with that said, I think we can still regain respect in this series.

Sundays game will be a hard fought battle till the end. if the game was played in Boston I would not give us a chance, but here at home I think we can manage to pull a win. it is possible.

if we do win Sunday, we get the edge back because even if the game is played in Boston the older boston players will be tired because of the one day turn around between games and coast to coast traveling just like in game 3.

that leaves game 7, where they say anything can happen, but that would be delutional to think that we could win that game in Boston, all they would need is a Pierce flop and the Rocky theme to put us away, but then again anything can happen.

it all comes down to game 5 now. do it Mitch!

Naw, we put up a good fight this year, but I'm still feel like crap because of the game last night, I'm just wondering how the Kobe, Sasha is feeling right now.

got to give props to the Celtics, they showed more heart, and toughness than us last night. Posey was a beast, and Pierce played great D in the 4th quarter. It is what it is.

I hope you guys get off of the Sasha bandwagon now. He's a okay player at best. He looks like he's playing good d. But he flops way to much, and I lost a alot of respect of him when he tried to trip up Ray Allen when he was on the floor. JUST MAN UP AND PLAY BALL!!! not that sissy basketball.

I usually never check out the Lakers board but some of you already pointed out that being down 3-1 isn't impossible. I always hate all these stats that they bring up in the playoffs because they are worthless.

All Lakers have to do is take it a game at a time. If the Lakers play like they did in the first quarter of game 4 they should be in good shape, but they must keep it up for the whole game.

But it does come down to which team really wants it the hardest. It's not impossible for the Lakers to come back, but your team must play perfect basketball, play hard every play, and don't let up a bit.

It should be a good game on Sunday
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
