LAST GAME OF THE SEASON AT

Image

These guys never quit.
Image

Neither did he.

Image

Now what are you made of?

Image

You're not a Laker if you quit.

Don't show up if you can't bring it.

Do these guys look like they deserve a ring?

Image

No they don't. What are you going to do about it?

Win out or go home. 1 game at a time.

Image

You're either a champion or you're a loser.

You don't get rings for almost making it.

You might be great next season but thats no excuse to lose now

This is surely not how you want to be remembered..

Image

So, will the real MVP please show up?

Image

How do we win?

1. Bring the intensity.

2. Play 48 mins like its the last game you'll ever play.

3. Don't be scared to get physical. You have an entire off season to heal up.

4. You are wounded and hurt but you won't get any sympathy from the fans.

5. Stay home on their shooters.

6. Rebound and attack the paint.

7. Score and run the break.

8. Hey.. their starters are old and have been clocking heavy minutes. Do you think they'll sustain the same intensity for 3 more games?

9. Have a go at them. Nothing to lose but a whole lot to gain.

10. We have the best fans in the world. Feed off from them and put in your best effort.

Lets go Lakers!!

Hell yeah J-far! Love the attitude.

Even if we don't win this all, let's make these smug mf'ers bleed a little. PeePee dancing on our home court... unacceptable.

Make those punks squirm.

The simple fact that overcoming a 3-1 Finals deficit has never happened before shouldn't be an overwhelming negative force... it really should be the ultimate positive force. The Lakers are pretty evenly matched with the Celtics, add that to the fact that every game so far has been close, add that to the fact that even through badly ref'd games towards both teams it was still close, add that to the fact that we are still at Staples, and add that to the fact that Kobe is still Kobe despite injuries, crappy media coverage who hate on him every chance they can get (even in LA), add that to the fact that there is no Bynum and we still made it here with a league procaimed "soft" Gasol, add that to the fact the Celtics were picked to win it all after adding KG and Allen, add that to the fact that everyone picked the Lakers to lose at the start of the season....

BUT WE ARE STILL HERE!!!

In his press conference today, Phil Jackson said that Kobe was angered by something KG said following gm 4. Jackson refused to clarify when questioned what exactly it was that made Kobe upset. Does anybody know what he said?

I think Phil was referring to the comment where KG said, "The first half they moved the ball, and then in the second half you know that's Kobe's time and he's gonna try to do it."

That's not quoted, that's just off the top of the head. But it was something along the lines of that. Where everyone just watches Kobe in the second half.

Alright guys, if your Phil Jackson, what adjustments do you make?

ONE: Kobe, Phil, Fisher have got to make this team believe that they can win. That's the number 1 key that we HAVE to have. Everyone in the locker room has to believe that we can still win this thing.

TWO: Whenever Rondo is in the game, have Fisher guarding Allen. Fisher can chase him around, and have Kobe as help, looking to get in the passing lanes and double who ever is closest to him.

THREE: Whenever Eddie House is in the game, send two people running at him. He is not great at dribbling the ball under pressure. Pressure him!

FOUR: Start Ariza, or make him the first one off the bench for Radmanovic/Odom. I don't want to see Luke Walton another minute in this series. Give Ira Newble Luke's minutes.. I just don't want to see him on the floor. I don't care if I'm living with my girlfriend now and she loves him to death. DON'T PLAY HIM!

Other Keys to Victory:

- Attack the basket, Kobe. Everyone, just like Game 3. Get them back on their heels, FORCE the referees to make foul calls.

- Play physical: I'm not saying play dirty and let's not take cheap shots. But a hard foul when Ray Allen or Pierce when they're driving to the basket will let them know that we're not giving up. Everyone remember when Kwame pushed over Boris Diaw? We need a moment like that.

- Play tough, offensively and defensively. This is the game where everyone on the team has to look to dunk right on someone's damn head. A big dunk can get momentum and the crowd in the game in a hurry.

Defensively, hustle. The ONLY PLAYER in this series I've seen dive for a loose ball has been TREVOR ARIZA (should we play him? Hmmm). Everyone has to dive on the floor, rotate hard to shooters, jump the pick and roll, active hands. Get steals and stops, rebound the ball, increase the tempo. Make this OUR game.

We've won 3 games in a row in the playoffs before against a good team. We won 3 in a row against Phoenix a couple years ago. If we can do it with Kobe, Smush and Kwame.. we can definitely do it with this group of guys.

We can DO THIS! MAKE A STATEMENT!

I don't want this team to go out like this. I got faith!

I hope Phil Jackson is right : "The series is not over !"
