I am getting pumped up for the draft this year, but pissed that we only have the 58th pick. Also we haven't worked out a single player occurring to the all the works that was in the Wiretap a few days ago.

Do you guys think we will be trading the second or that we just don't care who we get?

Kurt Diaz. This kid is a freak. Pretty raw but we can bring him a long like we did Andrew. He's definitely someone worth looking into and will probably be there for us.

Two Machines on one team might be a little too much.

There is no way we draft DeMarcus Nelson like RealGM says we are. **** Duke I think we'll just pick a project and send him over sees and hope we get a Ginobili type turn around.

NBADraft.net thinks we are going to draft Joe Crawford.

He is supposed to be like Charlie Bell or Fred Jones.

What can we trade to get a draft pick in the early 20''s? We can draft Bill Walker with that pick. He's going to be a steal in the draft.

Let's take the high road and actually draft someone we're planning on keeping. All this pent up hope about Marc Gasol/Sun Yue (yeah, I know Gasol morphed into his brother this year and help propel us to the Western Conference Title) is annoying considering neither of them will ever don a Laker Uni.

there would probably be some players there that would fit nicely here, but what would it take to move up? unless its the suns and then we can just give them some money

you posted this question like 12 hrs after the lakers lost the finals. of course they haven't worked anyone out!

During the Finals, the Celtics worked out Pargo.

Looks like the Lakers are going to workout a guy named Arizona Reid.

Combo guard for more guard depth is needed.

I like a Chicago deal acquiring the 39th then taking:
Kyle Weaver, Senior, Washington St. 6'5/201
Strengths: Big guard with the versatility to play both guard positions ... Plays PG for Washington State and handles and distributes the ball very well ... His ability to run the point guard position at least within the rotation on the next level makes him intriguing ... Very long, his wingspan gives him added length and makes him a tough assignment on both ends of the floor ... An excellent defender with a chance to get a lot better if he continues to work at it ... Has a quick first step and a solid handle enabling him to get into the lane for shots or dishes to teammates ... Has good vision and passing ability ... At #58, another decent combo guard could be:
Bryce Taylor, Senior, Oregon 6'4/210

An excellent athlete with great foot speed and leaping ability ... Displays good vision and plays unselfishly, a team player ... Smooth wing who does a good job of taking what the defense gives him and has a solid midrange game... Has shown the ability to step up in big games: Shot 11-11 with 7-7 from 3 for 32 points in the Pac-ten championship game against USC ... Shot 42% from 3 in his junior year ... Can fill in at the point guard position when needed with adequate ball protection ... Attacks the rim with aggressiveness and the body strength to finish at the rim ... Quality free throw shooter (82%) ...

for me, i think our 58th Draft pick is going to be traded. but if not, i'll pick Sasha Kaun. I saw him a little bit in March Madness 2008. I like his effort.

find a euro, stash him overseas and hopefully hes turns into a marc gasol
