Pretty decent signing if true, although I'd rather we had gone for someone who fills a bigger need (a tough nosed defender who's also a pure shooter, like Posey or Artest had he opted out).

first of all who is this "reliable source" you are talking about

and second, why on earth would maggette sign a deal for the mle when he could just wait it out for another four days or so and see where everyone else falls, possibly scoring a nice contract from the sixers, the warriors, or even the clippers.

The guy thinks he's bigger than he really is. He won't fit a role plus his three point game is just as bad as Lamar's.

he probably figured he'd get similar money from everyone, and he wanted to ensure his spot on a contender
but its all moot now
