Do it and damnit do it now

Post#1 » by joe.linnen » Sat Jul 12, 2008 2:09 am

I'm tired of waiting we let Hayes get away. Damnit I want James Posey. I don't care what it cost to get him but damnit do it now. Offer him a srating job, hell that way Odom can move to the second unit while running that and still getting his minutes. Posey and Ariza should get all of Walton and Radmanoic's minutes too. Grab Brown back, just tell him something about getting a title and cakeboy would be gamed. Giving us a line up of this.

SF:Posey/Ariza/Walton
PF:Gasol/Odom/Radmanovic
C:Bynum/Brown/Mihm
SG:Bryant
PG:Fisher/Farmar

Here are some other we should look into as well
Carlos Arroyo
Keyon Dooling
Ricky Davis
Francisco Elson,
Tyronn Lue
Theo Ratliff

I dont know why people just assume we are the front runners for Posey... Celtics and Hornets are good teams and can offer just as much money (as can everyone else)

Yeah I'm not getting a good vibe about this summer. We might go into next season with less talent. Well, that's not counting on internal improvement...

I'll stay patient right now and see how the market plays and unless Bynum's injury seriously limits his playing ability, we should start favorites next season.

Re: Posey, we should be warned beforehand that he's not the most motivated guy right after receiving a big contract and his game after the Heat's title winning season had complacency and a lack of motivation written all over it. He is all we need when he plays like he did in a contract year.

I think playing in astarting role would motivat him, remember with the Heat Fattwan Walker was started over him. I think if we give him the starting nod then he'll gie it his best all season, hell he couldbe the next Robert Horry with differen titles from different teams. We can even go big too and I still want Azubuike too.

Highlight No. 1- Dude was never a target to begin with. So we DIDN'T let him get away.

Highlight No.2 - Every single one of those guys except for Tyronn, are cry babies, punks, cancers in a locker room and selfish. Mitch should be fired if he ever thought about signing one of the rest.

You have to understand how free agency works. Once Maggette signed with the Warriors that made Boston up the anti for their boy Posey. We was only a deploy for him to use against Boston. Now Boston is willing to give Posey the full MLE but so can everybody else so the choice is really on Posey to decide.

Ya, Im with JAY JAY on this one.
Im wiling to sit back and be patient for now.
I think by letting Ronny go, their is something in store for this season, something we are not all aware of until the preseason or when the season starts.
So be patient little grasshopper and lets enjoy what we have for now and see what the future brings us.

"Free agent forward James Posey could soon make a decision about where he'll be playing next year, according to The Boston Globe.

Boston, Detroit, Washington, Cleveland, and New Orleans are all rumored to be seriously interested in signing Posey."

He is a scrub but one thing I think we all might be over looking is the fact that he's a big for cheap. He will play a little "D" & rebound. Right now we are without Turiaf & he always hit the boards. So as glad as i was when Kwame left if we get him for cheap it's not all bad
